Bay Truck Stop Family Restaurant — Restaurant in North Bay

i phoned ahead for a christmas dinner pickup, my wife has a broken leg and i am unable to wear a mask because of breathing problems, also have doctors papers saying i am excempt from wearing a mask, went to get our meals and was told i can't pick them up unless i wear a mask, every place i know lets you do pickups without wearing a mask, was shuffled out of the place. I asked a truck driver if he could get our meal after explaining about my wife and the no mask, he went and got our christmas meal and i gave him 10 bucks for doing so, when did it become wrong to not to be able to pickup food from a restaurant, where i make contact with no customers and all the staff wear masks,Two weeks before we went in and had our meal after i showed my excempt card and nothing was said, I am 72 and my wife is 73, there is just the 2 of us and this was our meal, i would like to thank the bay truck stop for treating us so unkind, they could have brought our meals out to the car that was 10 feet from the door, but instead treated us like lepers, Merry Christmas to you and your staff hope you had a...

Nice spot to grab a meal food was had perogies to start and burger for meal kinda easy, got side salad or so thought be sure you the cost difference I thought sub fries for salad small upcharge no big deal my mistake I guess for not being sure when I asked how a side salad was 13 bucks I was I don't know.... no effort to ask or anything to get clarification was told that's what it was, for hat price difference I would have kept frys But all in all, it's not a bad place if you're in the area but unfortunately won't be back after this first vist as it left me with a sour taste with the bill and no help when questioned. Side note it is a bottle pop for 3 bucks kinda pricey when the 2L at the store isn't much more. Just be sure you ask for all information if your substituting anything most places tell you if there's an up charge. And I'm always trying to find something other the frys while on...

This truck stop is just to the North of North Bay and is a very convenient truck stop.

Lots of parking space available, good and clean washrooms.

They could level the parking area and make it more organised, but for now I guess it works.

Staff are friendly and helpful.

Check out their sunglasses, found some cool ones. Thinking of picking a couple when I go next.

Edit: Took shower twice now and wow I love that they have heated floors, they make sure its clean before each use, give towels and soap as complimentary to use. You need to fuel up Min 200ltrs diesel to get it free.

Had Fish and chips from the restaurant, huge quantity, very filling, fresh and tasty too....
