So this date night thing happened on the weekend, Friday night to be precise. We arrived at the reserved time, were seated immediately and given menus and told about the specials. We ordered a bottle of wine and ordered, one prime rib special which included an appetizer of seafood quesadillas, which were delicious, the main course at medium rare served with Yorkshire pudding and vegetable and bumble berry pie with ice cream for dessert. The second meal was the fish special of haddock with risotto and vegetables, also quite delicious. We finished the experience off with a pair of cappuccinos. The evening was very pleasant from start to finish, the service was exceptional, the location is a bit out of the way but, this adds to the experience in my opinion, expect to pay a little more, we were approx $180, taxes and 20% tip included.

Located in a beautiful small-town setting, this must be one of the best restaurants my wife and I have ever been. The food is excellent, and the service professional and friendly. The atmosphere is convivial with all the antique mementos that gives a special mood to the place. While food is expensive, it is totally worth the experience. The food is high quality, very testy, well presented and the portions are quite appropriate. It is always a very enjoyable experience. I would like to add that on couple of occasions, the Chef prepared and modified the cooking to meet my food constraints. I wholeheartedly recommend the Brigadoon.

Brigadoon restaurant offered an excellent dining experience. The ambiance of the room was both unique and incredible. Our waitress Devin was courteous, professional, and personable. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The meals are pricey, but worth every penny. I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Reserve a table and go immediately. Between the food and the countless antique items on display, your senses will be tantalized the whole evening through.

My husband and I love going to the Brigadoon for birthdays and anniversaries. Today we went for High Tea to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary. It was the fist time we ate on the patio. It was very beautiful with lots of flowers and greenery. The umbrellas allowed for lots of shade. The food was delicious as usual. The drink specials were fabulous and were lovely on this very hot day. The staff were amazing like always. High Tea was $35/pp which I though was very reasonable.

We went to the Brigadoon for afternoon tea (at noon) before going on a tour at Upper Canada Village. It was delicious and delightful! The ambience is Victorian, a perfect prelude to touring the village. And the food was exquisite: traditional egg salad and cucumber sandwiches, but also innovative ones like prosciutto-wrapped asparagus pinwheels. The pastries too were delicate and tasty. All in all, lovely.

We held a family celebration of our Diamond Wedding anniversary in the reserved dining room. Afternoon tea for 24 was served with a customised menu listing all items. The food and service was impeccable and the period atmosphere of the dining room also added to occasion. A wedding anniversary cake topped out the entire meal. We would highly recommend the Brigadoon for medium size family celebrations.
