Great China House Restaurant — Restaurant in North Huron

We visited here May 27; we had a reservation for four at 6 pm. We waited a bit to be greeted at the door as they were short staffed. We all decided on the buffet. We noticed a Mom and daughter filling takeout containers themselves to take food home. They emptied two complete trays of food, to accompany other dishes they already had in their bags; while we waited for food. Why they were stuffing their bag with food themselves is not appropriate. We seated ourselves and were brought menus. We waited 15 minutes to get coffee/green tea and place our order. We didn't get the buffet as I simply can't eat that much. It took 29 minutes from our order being taken for the 2 combination plates to be brought to the table. We had decided we would leave at the 30 minute mark. Food is fresh and delicious when ever we eat here! Take out orders are hot and wait times are reasonable. The restaurant is small, but they offer plenty of variety in their buffet, and they refill constantly. Service is very friendly and efficient. The only complaint is being closed Tuesdays. However, they need at least one day to do what they need to, to run so well the rest...
