We have been stopping here for a bite to eat every time we ride our Harley out this way (sometimes twice a week). My husband can't get enough of the burgers - they are made especially for Honey's using the chef's personal recipe. The burgers are definitely excellent. I have ventured into the menu and tried several items. Every time I order something, I am amazed at how good it is. They always use the freshest products and quality meats. They serve large portions so I find that I have to take part of the meal home. The staff is eager to please and very friendly. They always provide take out containers for us and, if the pastry chef is trying something new, we get a taste - again, delicious! I am also happy that they have gluten free options for those of us with certain food requirements. Their gluten free buns and cookies are moist and tasty. What a surprise to eat delicious gluten free food! The Reuben is one of my favourites! It is huge and very tasty. Their daily specials are also very good and freshly made. I recommend this place to anyone travelling on hwy 28 or staying anywhere in the Kawarthas. Breakfast or lunch or just a snack - it will be worth your while to...

Great diner. Very clean and friendly. It's a diner not fine dining. I loved it. Breakfast was delicious and all the stuff including the owner are very friendly. I had ham and eggs and then the owner came out and brought me a fresh muffin right out of the oven. Was just a really nice gesture. I had a bloody Caesar which was very traditional.Next time I will try their coffee.

Thursday night is apparently wing night You get a pound and a half for the cost of the pound. The prices on the menu are reasonable and the food seems to have been made in a caring way. I found it delicious.

I do live here year round. I've been here for 3 years but this is my first time at Honey's. Most of the people that were in the restaurant seem to be locals versus tourists so it must be good. It's a very friendly place to go whether you're a tourist or a local. I was really impressed and will definitely go back.

They are not open for late night dining it's a breakfast lunch early dinner place but all the food seems to...

The diner seemed pleasant when we first arrived. They were extremely busy with customers waiting to pay their bills and leave. We were sat and given our menus and waited very patiently for 30 minutes for things to calm down. After the crowd left we watched tables around us get their drink orders taken and delivered, all of these tables were sat after us. A new table was sat and given their drink orders. After the new table had received all their drink orders we flagged down the owner on his way by to ask if we could also place a drink order. He immediately started yelling at us and wouldn’t let us explain that we completely understood how busy they were and just wanted to ask. After around a minute of yelling we got up to leave and the owner continued yelling at us as we were attempting to leave the premises. I have never gotten up and left a restaurant nor have I ever been treated this way. It’s disappointing it couldn’t have been...

I come to visit every year from Southern California. Honey's Diner is absolutely outstanding. We are literally treated like royalty when we were in there and the food is absolutely phenomenal. The staff are absolutely fantastic. They gave us free cookies and bottled water to help us enjoy our trip. It's not the fact that we're getting something for free, it's the fact that they care enough about us to make our great trip memorable. If any of you who have not been to Honey's Diner before and see this review, please stop and try it out. The food is absolutely delicious. They have amazing dessert treats. Most importantly the staff treats you like family. Thank you Honey's Diner
