Tim Hortons — Restaurant in North Stormont

I went in one to use the facilities inside since I'd been on the road for so long, it's a regular stop on my tour to visit family or friends.

I remember before {pre-covoid} when I wou;d go through the store door into Tim Hortons there was always a couple happy customers sitting together, friendly and funny they seemed to have an abundance of heartfelt smiles, giving the place a comfy sense of home.

But not anymore, the place looked like it was missing it's best part, the love and energy of regular customers and all that brings to this establishment. The visits were so taken away, bringing the eyes to all the minor repairs and internal cosmetic care that could use some serious updating.

I wish everyone's hearts would come together, to meditate, pretty, bless our people. I look forward to getting back to the good days off seeing smiling people everywhere, I miss the smiles.. don't you...

Used to be a great location with friendly service and great selection of items. I say used to be because as of late it has been the total opposite. Greeted by snarky staff, especially in the drive-thru, that seem to get worse by simply asking for a straw for my childs chocolate milk. I'm also starting to think their Chill machine gets selectively "broken" during evening shifts to lighten their workload. I know their job isn't an easy one by any means and serving the public can push a person over the edge at times, but with minimum wage growing to what it is today they are well compensated. The wages moved them closer to those of some skilled trades but the ability to do the job is...

I arrived at the Monkland,Ont location on Jan 12,24 at 7:30 ordered a bagel, 2 French vanilla and a donut. I sat at window until 7:36 as I watch my food sit on the counter at window and the man take the next orders and prepare the next orders and chat with the girl that was sweeping the floor after she had time to make my bagel!!! He changed coffee pots and took another order all while I sat at window waiting looking at my food getting cold!! There was no reason for this and it’s inexcusable service in my opinion.
