Cantine Clé de Sol — Restaurant in Nouvelle

This is such a great place, food was amazing, we tried two of their poutines and a club sandwich and popcorn chicken and fries. The poutines were delicious full of meat and flavors. Smoked meat and bacon. Spoon good. A must try. The club was delicious as well, great flavor mix and the coleslaw was so creamy... the popcorn chicken had plenty for my child. It was the kids menu for that. The place is just off the road, they have picnic tables to sit at. Just a bit noisy from all the traffic, but hey it was outside. The staff are super kind and friendly, being in Québec yes we spoke French first but I do believe they spoke some...

We were on the hunt for a good lobster (homard) club sandwich, and found this cantine. Frankly, we were expecting an average sandwich, but our expectations were exceeded with our order. The staff was very clear and helpful as we had a few questions, and they happily accommodated our "no mayo" special request. The lobster was delicious, the bacon, lettuce and tomato provided a nice compliment and were fresh, and the fries crispy but could have used a bit more salt in our opinion. We would definitely come back to try some of the other offerings...or just take another...

A nice place to stop for a bite to eat. I had the lobster roll Guédille which was tasty. It wasn’t my favourite lobster roll but it was good for the location. Great seating area and was open past the tourist season while many others...
