If I could give service 10 stars I would. The server we had (i think it said Christine on the receipt) was the sweetest server ever. She recommended the daily special, and also told us their house made dill dip would not disappoint and she was right! Their dill dip with the fries was amazing. The only thing that would’ve been better is having the dill dip on the chicken sandwich I got, though I am guilty for pouring some over my sandwich for a delicious bite.

The cafe was extremely clean with a good atmosphere. We sat in the front tables which had lots of natural light. There’s also a gas station next door incase you need to stop.

Pictured is their special of the day which was a chicken sandwich dressed as a clubhouse and fries. The chicken itself was thick, super crunchy, hot, and fresh. The bacon was nice and crispy how I like it, not chewy or fatty.

I also had their mozza sticks (not pictured) and it came with 6 with a side of sour cream. I’d recommend the dill dip for these instead.

Overall this was the perfect little cafe! I will definitely stop again when I’m in the area. I’d also like to add, they cut up a fresh lemon for us and served it on a plate to add to our water, which was very thoughtful and a great way to ensure customers that the...

The food we ordered was delicious, and well presented.

The problem with the service was they took our order and I ordered a sandwich with no tomatoes and my friend ordered a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. I had tomato on my sandwich and my friend ended up with fries not mashed potatoes. We don’t send food back so we dealt with it. Write things down maybe.

The atmosphere was fine until 2 random women came to our table and told us a nonsensical story about buying a lawnmower and wanting to punch people in the face. I’m not from the area, so I think there may be some kind of halfway house or something for people who can’t control themselves, in the area?

I don’t think...

My partner and I were two of four people in the restaurant and the food took two hours to come out. My partner ordered a hot mocha and it came out COLD. Also, he ordered a chicken burger and when our meals came out, it was a hamburger, not a chicken burger. It’s a shame because the cafe itself is cute, but the food was mediocre at absolute best and the service was subpar. The cost was outrageous at 75$ for two coffees (one of which had to be returned), one Italian soda, two eggs, a fish cake, two pieces of toast and frozen hashbrowns, and a cheeseburger (that should’ve been a chicken burger) and fries and two pieces of cake Won’t be returning and will not recommend this...

Super happy with our lovely breakfast at The Gold Bean Cafe! The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was fast & friendly, and the food was wonderful, with very generous portions. Our server was very friendly and returned often to top up our coffee. There are lots of heathy options available, and a child-friendly menu making it an ideal place to go with families. I'm looking forward to trying out their dinner options some time soon.

Went with my wife on a Sunday evening and got a table right away. Service was super quick, deep fried pepperoni appetizer in under 5 minutes, and our mains arrived before we were done with it. The big breakfast and haddock burger were both delicious, like a home-cooked meal. Fries with dill sauce were a standout. Generous portions and great value!
