First time visit in early October while on vacation from Indiana. Everything about this restaurant is fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a party of three adults, visiting at about 1:45 in the afternoon. Since it was the off-season, there was only one other family there, but I can imagine this place is hopping during the summer months. There is abundant outside seating, but we sat inside near the bar. The decor is just what you would want in a Lake Erie island gathering spot in all the good ways. We shared garlic shrimp (scrumptious!) and nachos (incredibly good, simple, and with homemade tortilla chips). We could have stayed much longer, but we needed to get back to the ferry. Definitely someplace we would return to again and again!

Had an amazing experience at "THE MAIN"! We went on a public holiday and were so happy they were open. We walked for an hour from the ferry to get there, but it was totally worth it. The service was exceptional, and it felt like being in a small town with family. They even had great draught beer, crispy and mouth-watering wings, and they accept credit card too! Highly recommended for anyone looking for good hospitality and great food.

Best place to eat on the island and open all year. This is a local gathering spot and the community all cooks here. Connor does a great job attending to your needs and Gog in the kitchen making some exceptional dishes make for a dynamic duo. First night we had fish tacos (plentiful) and beef on a Ciabatta bun - very delicious. The next night we were brought "The Gog" not on the menu but a specialty that we felt honored.

This restaurant/bar definitely not a 4 or 5 establishment, but being on pelle island expectations definite should be lower so me being generous give it a 2.. First impression definite requiring a makeover for building and decor table was like eating on fly paper my glass stuck to the finish or grit not sure🤔. Waitress seemed nice but not knowledgable about menu ex. my dinner and others in my party dinners was suppose to come with coleslaw when we received the dinner no coleslaw no offer of a substitution.. just ya we ran out of coleslaw then sound of crickets ..when you were expecting coleslaw but surprise all 10 of you are paying for it and not getting it.. fries greasy one order wrong.. glad i did not get the special the steak for 35$.. anyways carry on with your restaurant and do not worry about striving for excellence there sre only 2 to 3 restaurants on the island so you will always be...

Simply the slowest service I have ever had. We popped in just after 6:00pm thinking we would have a quick bite and then watch the sunset. We ended up being there for over two hours waiting for decent but not great pub food. We actually fared better than some other tables, who actually just got up and left without ever getting their food. Some people at the table next to us ordered the perch, and the server came back an HOUR later and told them they were out and that they would have to order something else. Some patrons even started bussing their own tables because napkins and cans were blowing all over the place (while the owner/cook just walked past, empty handed, several times... in between smoke breaks, of course). Just an...
