I’ve had Angry Dragonz a bunch of times; used to get from their food truck downtown (Kent and Nepean) before the pandemic. 5/5 for everything I’ve ever tried - portion sizes were perfect, good packaging, warm, fresh and delicious.
Ordered from them a couple of days ago off UberEats - husband and I got the Dragonz fried rice, 5 egg rolls and the Dragonz Bowl with an extra chicken skewer (Limebank and River Road).
The fried rice and egg rolls were amazing (as per usual) but the Dragonz Bowl had a very overpowering sesame oil taste, and smell.
My husband has an allergy to sesame, and although the bowl states it has sesame seeds (which can be easily avoided, visually speaking) nothing else refers to sesame oil. The bowl says it’s topped with spicy mayo sauce, cilantro, green onions and sesame seeds. The Asian Slaw (included in the bowl) says it’s topped with a garlic ginger vinaigrette. White rice (also included) was typical white rice but strongly infused with sesame oil (as they’re packaged side by side). The meat in general was pretty good (chicken was tender, beef and lamb were well done - I asked for pink but understand they might not feel comfortable due to food safety concerns and I completely understand that).
Just wanted to post this as a fair warning in case you have aversion to sesame oil. It’s definitely a personal preference type of thing though, and something that wasn’t noticed when I was first originally introduced.
Will still be ordering in the future but this experience was a bit off putting for me. Recommend they include as a disclaimer/ingredient in their menu and enhance the garlic ginger...

Our favourite is the Salt and Pepper Tofu! Crunchy outside and soft inside and season very well. I 100% recommend this dish! Great with beer ;)
The lamb skewer is well seasoned and tender, but the beef is the opposite. The beef skewers were dry and quite bland. I would recommend the lamb, but I personally wouldn’t order the beef again.
The chicken wings were juicy and have a nice crunch! I personally love kochujang which is the taste I get from the korean bbq flavor that we ordered, so I love it. However, my family do not think the same. It is an acquired taste, so if you are adventurous or if you have tried this and liked it before, then I would definitely recommend this.
The beef with mixed vegetables is my least favourite. Although the beef is really nice and tender, I find that there is so much cornstarch and the dish was bland overall. In addition, there was more rice than the meat and veggies. The portion was small for the price and for the quality in my opinion, so I would not recommend it.
Overall, this place is great and will definitely be back and try other dishes and find more...
Read moreMy husband and I experienced intense food poisoning after ordering takeout here this past Friday night. We were sick with vomiting, body aches, fevers, amongst other symptoms within hours of eating our food. Both woke up in the night in intense pain. These symptoms have lasted for several days, and we promptly threw our food away. We ordered a variety of chicken dishes which must’ve been spoilt.
When I contacted staff the day after (when I was well enough), I was asked to hold and then call back as they were “too busy”. Too busy to look into their food being seriously contaminated? I called in hopes of preventing others from experiencing the same poisoning. I reached out again today as instructed. However, we did not receive a refund or even the slightest apology. Not the response you’d expect from a reputable restaurant (which would take these claims seriously).
Needless to say, we will not be ordering from here again despite previously being loyal customers. We will be warning friends and family to avoid this place as well. We are only thankful we didn’t share any of the chicken with our young daughter (who could have been even more...
