Hot Pizzeria — Restaurant in Ottawa

I had put a review on here before and removed it after the owner asked me to. I should of never done this. My first review was due to the inconsistencies that I had experienced on numerous occasions. Having said this as I live in the community I chose to remove my review and support our local businesses MISTAKE. Firstly the owner is always rude and not very receptive to his customers. Every time I ordered from here I continued to have issues. Mostly the issue has been never getting the order right OR FORGETTING THE SALAD DRESSING AGAIN!! The last time I ordered (a few months ago) - I ordered my regular greek salad and guess what?; YES it was without the salad dressing AGAIN! Thankfully I live walking distance but think how inconvenient it would be to arrive home (if you had to drive there or even delivery) to find that there is no dressing!! Not once has my salad been picked up with the dressing included..... And here is the icing on the cake...I am eating my salad...and I feel I am chewing when I feel something not right. My partner sees my face and is thinking what I was thinking that it may be an olive pit; not wanting to bite it I remove it from my mouth AND OMG YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT IT WAS!! A SCREW NAIL!! What would of happened if I would of bit down on that or even swallowed it!! My partner was furious and walked over there immediately with my salad and said look at this salad how did a screw nail get in there!! What did the owner say? That it couldn't of possibly come from his place; OH SO A SCREW NAIL FELL FROM MY CEILING I GUESS!! The owner yelled at my partner as if it were our fault - Like really? My partner was beyond furious and we made a pact that we WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN!! Please ensure you check your food before you eat it if you decide to eat...

After a short walk over, our eyes must have been bigger than our stomachs when we sat down at Greely Hot Pizzeria on a bustling Friday night.

We went all in and ordered the Greek Family Platter – a generous spread of Greek salad, fluffy rice, roasted potatoes, warm pitas, and four perfectly grilled chicken skewers – along with a medium pizza for good measure. While we waited, we sipped on cold Coronas and waited.

The portions were massive. The salad and rice alone could have fed a small crowd, and the entire platter was easily more than three people could handle, which meant we had plenty to bring home. No complaints there.

The pizza? Hot from the oven and absolutely delicious. It had just the right amount of cheese and toppings, baked to perfection.

We chose to dine in, and there’s no shortage of space for that. It’s a relaxed, comfortable spot to kick back and enjoy a good meal.

I loved it and the people before and I love it and the people now. I only took one star off because the one time we ordered their new Greek food it was honestly half the serving you get from Greek on wheels and more expensive but still good. But other than that it's either the same as before or even better. Their home made garlic sauce is amazeballs and they have even ran out a few times that's how popular it is. I never got sick like from what that person down there said. We are lazy and don't really cook so we order from there at least three times a week :s (yes I know it's bad) and we never got sick once. You need to be careful what you say about a business cause that's slander. They could of gotten sick from anything. Anywho I think they are doing great and I'm glad they finally renovated cause it was seriously...
