Lovely and most importantly authentic Turkish cafe/eatery that's obviously already an important part of that community. It's small but nicely done inside with a decent amount of seating around the main counter and a pleasant family vibe to the place.
Service is friendly and efficient and this cuisine not being well represented - if represented at all authentically until now in the area - is also an exciting development. My family used to live in Malaysia where this type of food was commonplace but since moving here that's no longer the case so that's another reason to be excited.
Gözleme was beautiful and gul boregis also looked fantastic though didn't try any this time. A smallish but decent range of other more substantial meals and sweet things are also available. I also had the eclairs and magnolia for dessert—both were amazing. The eclairs were rich and creamy, and the magnolia was smooth and not overly sweet—really comforting.
