You have to try the Fish&chips, very flaky and nice taste, the fries had me going to, it was homemade and had to be the best fries I’ve tasted in a long time, the place is very nice looking with the service being kind to help you with anything, the prices are fair too but small menu I think, but that’s fine with me! I would come here and give it a if I were you :)

My girlfriend and I visited this family restaurant for breakfast. I went adventurous and ordered the Monte Cristo, which is French toast stacked with ham and cheese. It was alright. It wasn’t something that I need to have again. I would have enjoyed a regular breakfast more. But it was creative! Overall, great service and friendly staff.

I ebiked from Stratford on my way to Mitchell. Stopped in for a Monte Cristo and a tea. Really tasty - first time trying a Monte. Opened at 8 exactly. Haven't been to Dave's since the previous location; seems just as good. Second visit about a month later - Breakfast on the front patio. Dave's Deluxe and a tea. So good 👍.

Perhaps the first time I've ever felt ripped off at a diner. Stopped in today with my family for a light lunch. Cost over 40 dollars. I had a club sandwich. My wife asked for two poached eggs and 2 pancakes. Ordered peach pancakes. Received plain, sad looking discs. Remarked they were supposed to be peach. 3 minutes later we find out they are out of peaches. Got apple cinnamon instead. Pretty pitiful topping. Got billed $8 for the pancakes! And then $2 for the eggs. Then extra for the the apples and cinnamon. I spent $13 on Her breakfast, which most places would have been less than half that. At a place like coras, for $24 you'd get something impressive. Not sad. Kids split a burger and fires. And got juice. Again, billed $2.65 for each juice. Those tiny little ones. Thank goodness my wife and I had only water. Or I might be taking out a second mortgage to finance the meal. I can't in good conscience ever eat here again. I don't know if it was because we are from out of town and not a familiar face and thus an easy mark. Next time, for less money I'll just hire a limo to take me to Joe's Diner in Stratford and pocket...

Went here for supper . Mainly breakfast on the menu . Anyways I ordered a burger and fries . The burger look like he put a cinder block on it and flattened it totally flat. Was so chewy couldn't eat it . Didn't even eat half the burger . The fries where greasy and had some type of spices on them . Maybe ate 5 fries that's it. They didn't take nothing off the bill . I do not recommend this place at all . Maybe the breakfast might be ok but not taking that chance and waste...

I had breakfast there eggs and bacon and home fries done perfect lots to eat full when l left.Service was friendly and fast.Went back a few days later had the clubhouse and French fries “WOW” best clubhouse l have had in years real turkey not package meat French fries so delicious there was some kind of seasoning on them and the fries were fresh can’t wait too go back.Thank you too the Chef.l highly Recommend Dave’s Diner you won’t be...
