Place was a godsend! We arrived in the park, after a fair amount of driving, settled tent, etc. This is when we needed a good pick me up to help keep us going. Freya & Thor is located shortly before you enter the National Park, off the Cabot Trail in Chéticamp so, we had to backtrack just a bit, nothing crazy.
I myself got an Americano and a freshly baked brownie. The latter was recommended by the owner Erin. My spouse was looking for something cold and she was recommended the salted caramel cold late.
Freshly ground and brewed, the coffee hit the spot like no other! The brownie was perfect, light and flavourful. The cold drink was refreshing amazingly tasty with the whip and drizzle.

This was far more than breakfast. It was an experience. The owner Matt took great pride in his service, his breakfast sandwiches and his coffee. You could sit inside or outdoors undercover in this really eclectic setting that looked like something out of a roadside rest stop 30 years ago. Go to their website to see exactly what I mean. The building is absolutely unique and I highly recommend a visit, both for breakfast and a visit to the adjoining gallery. This is a must stop if you are going through Cheticamp. Rate this stop a 4 out of 5 for the unique character of the place as well as the quality of breakfast. Go early as this is a very popular place and runs out of parking quickly. ...

Her words really stuck with me: crafts and art shouldn’t be done in pursuit of perfection. We each bring our own touch and uniqueness to it, and...
