Sorry they deserve a Zero 0ļøā£ but for the fact that they are getting away with a single star āļø doesnāt mean much either way- just FYIā¦
These guys need a crash course in hospitality and restaurant & business managementā¦as this restaurant is the worst experience in Fine Dining ever experienced - in our lives ā¦. And an epitome of what should never be ⦠so letās share our night out with you.
No time for a starters as the kitchen would be closing soon apparently as the restaurant was closing in 40 minutes- although 15 guests walked in after us to a party room adjacent to the restaurant and ordered after closingā¦we observed.
The SEA FOOD risotto ordered was a can of sweet corn plus some food colouring albeit purĆ©ed resembling FRESH āyellow baby poopā AND it was topped with two shrimp š¤ and two gritty yes GRITTY scallops below and THE DISH comes minus the risotto, BUT PLUS THE FREE SAND for PRICE shy of $70 AND - thatās how fresh the scallops were - apparently straight out of the ocean š lol š - and plonked into your corn š½ hash.
And in addition we also got a perfect little shoe š leather tenderloin and we were TOLD by our server that medium rare was not an option- in their kitchen ā¦ā¦when we had insisted upon medium rare. hmmmm what a shame that their staff does not know how meat needs to be cooked as per a guests request- in a restaurant that specializes in meat and is masquerading as a steak houseā¦oops āmeet houseāI guess as they opt to spell it lol š or maybe they forgot to spell check their own website lol š ššš as obviously they do not know the first thing about meat or any other food they serve -
Tried reporting our experience to the manager but sheās TOO BUSY TROMPING AROUND in her stiletto heels to ever revert back to her guest complaints - no time for that kind of stuff - sheās too stuffy apparently to even have the courtesy of a professional response- after we made the complaints so hereās an honest review of our experience on our special night.
Oh just wait the icing on the cake is if you ask them to refresh your bread š„ basket -
There is nothing complementary about the bread basket umm plate as it come as they proudly proclaimed āfor an extra price of $5.00 dollars plus tax ā - so having traveling the world and enjoying fine dining experiences all over THIS RESTAURANT IS THE ONLY EXCEPTIONAL PLACE TO HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE THEIR GUESTS WHO ARE ALREADY PAYING FOR OVERPRICED FOOD AND UNPALATABLE DISHES - FOR A MEAGRE BREAD BASKET REFRESH and so much said when you consider that if a bread baskets ha ha ha which you need to consider comes at a price should you ask for a refreshed basket- š§ŗ so think carefully before you enter the place - and make your decision after all this place is located unfortunately in a casino so itās YOUR GAMBLE - as we noted- and is no place to eat a good meal.
Responsible Gambling ha ha ha !!! Albeit even in a their restaurants- as I also understand they have another chain at another casino too - hmm wonder why they are located in casinos only -
Fortunately we made a few friends instead as the table beside us who unbelievably also had the same experience as us and as we laughed at the atrocious situation and food and moreover at their FIVE DOLLAR BREAD REFRESH PLATE - which we all unanimously agreed āwas the only thing actually PALATABLE- yes - pun intended lol š ā In the restaurant- So if youāre going to eat here pay $5.00 as you will determine that that is the only thing worth ordering in this restaurant.
So apparently if youāre looking for a good meal š½ļø knock this restaurant off your list- itās only for people who donāt know what good food tastes like.š or are maybe just too smashed to careā¦
Note how they spell MEAT š AT THIS PLACE IT IS SPELLED AS āMEET HOUSEāLOL CHECK OUT THE ABOVE - COPPERHORN MEET HOUSE PICKERING - no wonder they donāt know how to cook š„© MEAT ummm MEET šEVIDENTLY ?????
Run away from the restaurant or be quiet and bite your tongue š yikes š³ lol š...

The atmosphere at Copperhorn Restaurant is lovely elegant and gives the impression of fine dining. Unfortunately, everything beyond the ambiance fell short of expectations.
We waited over an hour for our meals, and when they finally arrived, the experience was disappointing: ⢠New York Strip Steak (10 oz.) ā Served cold and dry. I requested medium-well, but it was completely overcooked and flavorless. ⢠Bacon-Wrapped, Corn-Fed, Free-Range Chicken Breast Supreme ā Easily the worst chicken we ever had at a fine dining restaurant: dry, bland, and lacking any flavour. ⢠Three Australian Lamb Chops ā Decent in taste, but arrived cold and not prepared as requested. ⢠Specialty Lobster Mac & Cheese ($48) ā This was the biggest disappointment. It was served inside a lobster shell, which looked appealing, but the dish itself was dry, bland/no cheese, and what I would call over cooked/baked! We barely took two bites. What made it worse was that our server didnāt even ask if we wanted it packed to go, despite noticing it untouched. For $48, I absolutely would have taken it home and add flavour to it myself.
To be absolutely honest here, the breads and drinks were the only saving grace, the sangria was very good, and the wine was decent. Bread came with baked garlic and whipped butter, it was good. Service, however, was just āokay.ā Our server didnāt ask how the food was, and we did request lamb chops to-go, when we placed our main course, however i believe it was prepared too early as it was a bit too cold.
For comparison, I regularly dine at The Keg (my favorite steakhouse) and severely other steakhouses. I enjoy dining at Ruthās Chris on special occasions, while Ruthās Chris is pricey, every dish Iāve had there is executed perfectly. Even internationally, Iāve had outstanding dining experiences, such as at The Shard in London absolutely worth every penny. Copperhorn, unfortunately, was the opposite.
I was very hurt and disappointed to spend such a large amount on food that didnāt meet even basic standards. The final bill came to just over $500, and based on the quality of food and service, it wasnāt worth even half of that. Dining out should feel like an experience, something you remember for the right reasons. While I donāt usually put a price tag on dining out ā especially when it comes to enjoying good food ā this one was very difficult to justify paying. Copperhorn left me frustrated, disappointed, and with the difficult feeling I wasted $500.
If you look at the pictures, you can see thereās no moisture coming from any of the plates or meals, the plates were not even warm,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the misfortune of dining at a restaurant that I can only describe as a complete disappointment.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff were disinterested and unengaged. Despite having made a reservation, we were kept waiting at the entrance for a good 15 minutes while the restaurant wasnt even busy!
When we were finally seated, it took an eternity for a server to come over and take our order. We had to flag down a passing staff member to even get menus everytime! We finally got our bottle of wine after 45 minutes of being there. We had finished our wine well before our food came. We didnt even get the chance to order more drinks or even offered. The fries tasted like McDonald's fries which was actually the only thing good about the restaurant. We ordered food at 9:30pm and it came at 11pm ⦠what a disappointment.
Our server and MANAGEMENT (especially management) was dismissive, barely acknowledging us when we tried to get their attention. But the worst part of the experience was the way the management handled our complaints. When we tried to express our frustration with the poor service and quality of the food, we were met with defensiveness and excuses.
Instead of apologizing and trying to make things right, the manager seemed more concerned with shifting the blame onto the already overworked and understaffed servers. It was clear that they were more interested in protecting their own image than in making sure their customers were satisfied. 2 groups were frustrated with this restaurant
We expected to at least get some sort of compensation after being there for 3 hours but the management kept insisting they had to contact someone as they were not able to accommodate anything. We wanted to wait to see if there was something that could be done but instead they basically held both groups hostage until everyone just agreed to pay full price since we had already wasted our entire evening. Not to mention one of the manager screaming at the other group(which we heard from the other end of the restaurant).
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was mediocre at best, and the terrible service made the experience memorable in the worst way possible. Save yourself the disappointment and choose a...
