Ginger beef was so dry even the sauce didn't soften it up, not much ginger flavor, plus the beef tasted old, and so tough/dry I thought I would break a tooth. Chicken balls: batter was crispy and thick, and difficult to find the chicken. Beef and broccoli: where's the beef? Broccoli and sauce was good. Chow mein: noodles and a few pieces of chicken, boring but probably the best dish next to the broccoli. Lemon chicken was ok but the sweet & sour sauce and lemon sauce tasted the same. The lid on the lemon sauce had a slight yellow color, only way we knew it was lemon. Dry breaded ribs were hot and tasty, although some pieces were large, some had lots of fat, but that usual for this dish. All in all, don't recommend. Three...

I just had lunch with a friend here Today. Shortly after we sat down the owner had started yelling at the employee. This went on for about 5 minutes before we interrupted the yelling boss to ask for menus and a drink. Once the waitress was able to serve us the service was great, but you could see how flustered that poor girl was. Halfway through our meal and a restaurant full of people the boss came back out and started yelling at the waitress again. I felt really bad for the employee. The food was amazing and tasted great, the service would have been better if the waitress wasn't being embarrassed by her boss in front of everyone and the atmosphere was very awkward. This place is a hidden gem, and a Lakeland favorite. You can't tell by looking at the restaurant but this place is pretty special. They serve what I would consider to be the best Chinese food. Extremely fast and accurate service, the staff are very friendly and won't leave you high and dry if you need something. Without asking, they refill your drink just as an example of the customer service. The building blends into the town so well that initially you wouldn't think it's a Chinese restaurant, it's worth the drive from any direction. The food is succeed served as dine in or take out. If you dine in you can expect up food to be served in a very timely manner, hot and delicious.
