Skyview ainât your average greasy spoonâitâs like if a diner and an airplane runway got drunk and eloped. Youâre scarfing down a plate of eggs so fluffy they could double as clouds while a prop plane outside does a sassy little loop-de-loop, practically mooning the dining room. This place doesnât just serve food; itâs a full-on breakfast bonanza with a side of aviation chaos. Open âtil 2 PM, so you better hustle before they roll up the runway and call it a day. The menu? Think burgers so beefy they could bench press your car, sandwiches stacked taller than a control tower, and breakfast classics thatâll make you weep maple syrup tears. The baconâs crispier than a stand-up comicâs punchline, the pancakes are fluffier than a poodle at a dog show, and the eggs? Scrambled so perfect youâll wonder if they hired a wizard. Every biteâs like a love letter from a diner king who really, really likes you. The staff? Theyâre moving faster than a biplane in a tailwind. Sophia, the waitress, is a breakfast-slinging ninjaâdarting between tables, flipping coffee refills like throwing stars, and serving your hashbrowns with a grin so dazzling it could land a 747 in fog. Sheâs not just a server; sheâs the breakfast MVP, probably bench-pressing waffle irons in her spare time. Then thereâs Sue, the sweetest olâ gal this side of the stratosphere. Sheâs like if a warm biscuit and a hug from Mrs. Claus had a babyâevery word out of her mouth feels like a cozy blanket. Youâll wanna knit her a sweater just to say thanks. Skyviewâs not just a meal; itâs a circus of syrup-soaked, burger-fueled, plane-spotting madness. If youâre into food that hits harder than a low-flying crop duster, sprint to Wyoming, Ontario, before they lock the doors at 2. This place is so good, youâll be dreaming of bacon and runway lights for weeks. 12/10, would propose to a pancake...
Read moreStaff all running around not knowing what to do. Waitress swearing in front of all the customers because she didn't like how she had to clean up after her last table. Along with other people we were all ignored when we were trying to pay. Waitress could not check us out. Too busy polishing Silverware and walking by all of us and deliberately ignoring us. When we all asked to pay, a woman said Eventually, but I really don't know which one of these receipts are yours. No one had a specific job. When our Waitress was told we all wanted to check out. She acted like it was a bother. We could have actually left without paying and no one would have noticed. I am actually very surprised to hear all the good reviews. I think they would be fine if they weren't busy. It seems like some staff were there just to help, and maybe not even get paid. I was so excited to go and it was so...
