Restaurant Chez Claudine — Restaurant in Pointe-à-la-Croix

I was told they had changed cooks at this restaurant. I'm not sure if its true. But let me tell you, this smoke meat is dry, the bread is toasted, your not supposed to toast any bread unless the customers asks, and I didn't. They gave me gravy...why would they put gravy with a traditional style smoke meat? And they gave me corn?!? I ordered a simple bacon poutine and a smoke meat dinner with vegetable rice on the side. It took an hour for the order to be ready. This is not the restaurant I once knew.The waiters seemed agitated and unhappy, the cook came out from the kitchen 3 times to ask for a working pen. No one had the proper pen that worked. Their was two customers in the restaurant. Something has to change. This used to be an amazing place to go that people talked about! People would get excited about going to eat there. But the service is now poor. Perhaps they were having a bad day, and I'm not sure of the circumstances, but that doesn't excuse my toasted rye bread...

My boyfriend ordered Country breakfast and I got gourmet breakfast and if I only thought to take pictures. Our meal were just throw in a take out container with no care or thought and our home fries were soggy and partly uncooked.plus I’m fully vaccinated but I forgot Proof of vaccination and they require it so me and my boyfriend Weren’t able to eat in the restaurant. So me and my boyfriend ordered it to go and had to wait outside the whole time (The weather wasn’t ideal). I don’t see myself eating here anytime soon. Quality was poor and service...

Very professional. My absolute go to place to eat! The taste and flavors are so homemade like. They are very friendly staff and waiters, its super clean here I love it!! One of the bests restaurants in the area! Its in walking distance for me so I'm able to walk from time to time with my children to go eat. More restaurants in the area needs to be like Chez Claudine. 5star all the way! They also deliver and everything is always perfect on time and nice and warm. Please, pleaseee don't ever shut down Chez...
