Unreal. Loved every second. Not only was the poutine the best I've ever tasted, but it was also entertaining because it was like being transported into the Wild West but French, with tons of sketchy characters around, never really sure if they might murder me, or take me on as an apprentice ranch hand and develop my character through tough love. Masculine men with sick beards in trucks everywhere and the most badass terrifying women. Some dude with a mullet done a burnout in a 60s muscle car. As an ultra-sheltered British village girl, absolutely thrilling, will be back 🙌

This little casse croute has become a go to stop for us when we are passing through Quyon. We discovered it last year and were very impressed! A few weeks ago, we stopped in again and discovered that ribs are now on the menu. The owner had spent the off season perfecting a recipe. Tough job for his food testers! He nailed it!! The ribs are excellent!! We are regulars at the annual Rib Fest in Ottawa, and the ribs at Casse Croute du Village could go head-to-head with the best of the ribs we've had a Rib Fest. If you like ribs, definitely check them out. And if not, well the pulled pork, burgers, and poutine are all excellent too. You will not be disappointed. Great, friendly, bilingual service too. We stopped at Le Casse-Croûte du Village in Quyon for a quick lunch, and it was a great little find! • The setup is simple with exceptionally clean picnic tables and umbrellas outside, making it easy to sit and enjoy on the spot. • Service was warm, friendly, and our food came out quickly.
