Yummy House — Restaurant in Porcupine Plain

We are not picky eaters. And there are never ever leftovers when we get Chinese food.

We ordered 6 dishes. We ended up eating the rice and noodle dish but threw out all the rest. 100% Inedible. The meat all tasted off. There was no sauce on the sweet and sour chicken balls. The pineapple in the S&S pork was like wood and again no sauce. Sauce might have covered up the meat flavor.

Sad because we were really excited when we found out there was a take out place in PP.

Decided to explore the prairies and discovered a beautiful little town called Porcupine Plain..and within this town we discovered this hidden gem, “Yummy House” one of the most authentic Chinese/Thai cuisine I’ve had. I grew up in Vancouver and I’ve had many good authentic asian cuisine. If Yummy House is not better, its definitely on par with most of the great food I’ve had in a big city. Owner needs to step up some real basic things like a couple building maintenance things. Definitely a nice dude but needs to leave the lights on and make it clear that it's open for business. Maybe some fresh paint? Maybe take down the xmas decorations? The food has definitely gotten better but some simple things would go a long way like ice...
