All I can say is WOW! What happened? It used to be a little pub that looked outdated and a little dingy but with decent greasy spoon grub. I am told new owners. Now I am pleased to report that it looks like it has been transformed into a fully modernized beautiful pub eatery. The staff was really welcoming, food was great, innovative and prices are on par or better than everywhere else in Western Canada. It was really pleasing to be a tourist and feel like you were part of the local scene as tourists and locals were there in abundance. There has been a lot of hard work put here and it shows. Amazing view from the patio, beer is cold and fresh from the tap, an absolute must if you are travelling though Port Clements - Haida Gwaii. Do I dare say it is the best on the islands? Yes and most welcome since another favourite spot from years past, Charter's in Masset, has been logged into the annals of Haida...

This place is great especially for such a small town. The attention to detail in the decor follows through to the food. Great tasting pub type fair. Not an overly extensive menu which for the size of the town makes sense but what was on it was great. We had a largish crew and nobody had anything negative to say about the food. We were in a bit of a rush and let the server know. The food was out quick and she had bills to us before we were done so we could leave as soon as our meals were finished.
