Our first experience.... This definitely is a place that has elevated Port McNeill to another level for growth and offering not only more options for Eats in town, but also another place to come together within community and enjoy an upbeat ambiance that transports you to another place to experience good food delights. There are quite a few notable and tasteful interior décor for a Micro Brewery. The pizza had a portion on the bottom that was a tad over char but the whole pizza overall was quite good, good ingredients, didn't fall apart, it gave a rustic flavor but would have been nice if there was a little more base to each slice. Thin slice is good, but there's a fine line between eating pizza or just toppings. I was satisfied overall with the pizza though, don't get me wrong. The Chips & Dip Appetizer - Is unfortunately a disappointment. The chips were in a small size bowl and most of them were broken into small pieces, the dip was consistent of two types one gauc and the other onion & red pepper in small quantities. Make the dipper easier to get onto your chip in quantity and oozing with deliciousness and make it more comfort food style with cheese or ranch or something that people will devour. I would rather pay more for something delicious than something that feels like it took zero effort to make. Either make it better or remove it from the menu. Better to have praise then disappointment. The Caesar salad was quite delicious, the dressing was quite delicious. Plating and quantity was good. Ingredients were fresh! Pulled Pork Tacos were a bit underwhelming but overall was tasty. There was a fair bit of water that wasn't drained from the pulled pork. 3 tacos with a mouthful or two for each one. SUGGESTION: It would be nice if there was a few options of real Main meal options like a Steak dinner Halibut & Chips Sushi/Tempura/Sashimi Donair & Fries Dessert Menu? - Tiramisu/Cheesecake/Apple Pie and Gelato? We had the flight of 6 and I can say each tasting glass really hit their own individual notes and were quite good. 👏👏👏 Also picked up a delicious growler of kombucha! Staff, Servers, Kitchen, were friendly, quick work, not bothering but attentive and observational of hand gestures and eye contact. Reasonable amount of options on the menus, and some fun names for them. Overall Devils Bath Brewery was definitely a good experience. I hope to visit Port McNeill again and have an even better experience!

A MUST-STOP SPOT! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place is simply above and beyond! If you're traveling through Port McNeil, make sure you stop here—it's a must. My husband and I have visited nearly every brewery on Vancouver Island, and this one is hands-down our favorite. The beer is amazing and the selection is fantastic for any beer lover, but even if you're not into beer, the food is equally amazing! On our last visit, my girlfriend and I unfortunately missed the kitchen cut-off and were so bummed about it. A couple sat beside us and strangely was able to get food well past the kitchen's closing time, so we asked how?! Turns out it was the owner enjoying a meal with his partner!! 😳😳🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️Fair enough!! What really blew us away was how kind they were, he even offered us his own food, but we couldn't take it. We had a nice little chat and he ended up making us a little something in the back himself. It was delicious and we were so grateful after a long day of exploring the beautiful north island. The service, the beer, the atmosphere, the food—everything about this place is top-notch. Don't miss it. The cherry on top for us was: they have vegan options and have board games you can take to your table! So awesome 👌 Love everything about it! Don't hesitate. (Only photo I ended up taking was of my empty glass.)

I cannot express how much I appreciate Devils Bath. After a long drive upisland, it is nice to unwind before catching the ferry home. They have wonderful staff and owners. An old converted garage that reminds of the transition of old to new. This family friendly establishment in my opinion is the best craft brewery North of Victoria. In a region that is packed with amazing breweries, it is worth the trip to come and taste their creations. We are fortunate enough to have Devils' Bath on tap in Alert Bay, a 35 minute ferry ride away. Their Lager and Hazy Pale Ale are top sellers among locals, but they are constantly creating new flavours to keep you coming back for more. They are an innovative small business staffed with people that remind you why we need to support local. Locals making excellent beer for locals is a concept that truly is valued among many in the region. It is a wonderful success story. They have frequent features, delicious soups, and pizza by the slice. If you are looking for delicious food and a cold pint, definitely drop in!

The drinks were good but the service was not. I would comment on the food, but I didn't get to try that due to the service. This was my first visit to the Brewery, and unfortunately my last.

I stopped in for a visit on a Saturday night with my sister who was visiting from out of town with her boyfriend. Anyways, we showed up at 8pm, the waitress took our order and asked if we wanted food. We said yes, we need like 10 minutes to think about it and enjoy some drinks first. (The waitress said thats fine as long as we order before 9pm). So the waitress brought our drinks and basically never came back after. Time went on, we finished our drinks and we saw this waitress putting the chairs on the tables outside, she walked by us several times and never checked on us. So my sisters boyfriend got so frustrated he ended up going to the front counter and asked for service. This waitress finally came to us, she took our drink order again and we tried to order food. (It was 15 minutes to closing time now). Anyways, after she took our order she said she will check to see if she can put the food order through. Well, she never came back! AGAIN! I've never experienced such horrible customer service in my whole life. I was so hungry and irritated at that point, we ended up just going to Gus's, where they gave us great customer service. We got food and drinks promptly! Plus Gus's had some good music, compared to the brewery, I don't like the atmosphere there at all. Don't waste your time or money. The menu was very limited, and due to the service you won't get food anyway.

PS: our waitress was tall, super skinny and a brunette. So if you go and get her, ask for somebody else for the sake of...
