Sandy's Old Fashion Hamburger Stand — Restaurant in Prince George

This place always has good food and is well priced. That is the only good thing about this place. The service has been TERRIBLE every time I have been there. I kept going back for a while because I hoped that the service would be better the next time, and it never was. After a hot busy day, my husband and I took our 2 year old for a later dinner and arrived at 6:45 , and they close at 7. We waited behind 2 other customers in line, and by the time we got to the window, it was 6:59. A sign was placed that said close while my husband was standing there. She never said anything, just put the sign up and walked away. I was completely disgusted with this lack of customer service. This was not the only time I have had an experience with terrible customer service at this location. I went another time before this with my niece and nephew who had both saved up some of their allowance to buy some ice cream. They each wanted to pay for their ice cream with their own money and the lady behind the counter got mad at them because it was more inconvenient for her to have to do up two separate orders then to just pay for they're ordered together. She made sure that they knew how inconvenient they were making things for her, even though they were children and trying to learn how to earn and spend their own money. The lady wasn't the nicest, when we asked about the menu she didn't try to explain anything, she just said "the menu says it all." We have heard mixed reviews but had to check it out ourselves. It was great. There was a bit of a wait, but it was super busy. The food was delicious making it worth the wait too.
