Eggsquis — Restaurant in Quebec

I don't like to write harsh review because I'm working in public as well. I know how difficult and abrasive it is with clients sometimes.

I'll try and give good pointers so you can improve on things.

First we waited for a long time at the front, but this one is a no-brainer really you're probably short staffed and I understand.

Second, this is where you can improve I think, we had one single cup of coffee at the beginning and no refill, for the entire duration the server never came back. Again I know you're running around and you're short staffed, don't take it personally. But as a customer experience for breakfast we literally had 2 sips of coffee it was not great.

Food was very dry and uninspired, my mom had the Croc Monsieur. It was basically just a bun with an egg and some meat. No sauce, nothing to make it taste special or good. With the lack of coffee for the entire experience I must say it was hard to swallow for her. Again I don't want to be negative just trying to give you an accurate feedback.

I had the Special Brunch (i think its the name). Sausages are great and perfectly cooked, the beans are tasty loved the beans! Potatoes were okay but very bland without sauce or anything special. The potatoes were perfectly cooked don't get me wrong but it was missing something special or unique like some sauce or spice.

Eggs were very not great in both cases, tiny and burried near those boring plain potatoes, it felt like price cuts.. id pay 5-7$ more for my plate and get me some normal size eggs with sauce. It's supposed to be the star of the show, your restaurant is named "Eggsquis" guys.. those tiny little things were absolutely disappointing for a breakfast restaurant. This is the first place I would focus my attention to improve..

Super wonderful place for early or late breakfast. Service was a little long but understandable with the clientele lining the inside. This place runs like a well oiled machine. I believe the controller was Josieanne but what fantastic super service.This woman I'm sure is an asset to this business Our waitress was Lorie B. Food and coffee as well as juice was undeniable superb ordered a #6 turned as well as a omelette Campagnardre, received it fast and hot. For the number of people eating and waiting noise is not a factor. Prices are reasonable to great. For myself this is probably what of the finest breakfast restaurant that I have enjoyed in the past 5 years. Hats off to the staff,...
