Recently, I came across a video on TikTok that depicted abysmally low food standards at this location.
I've attempted to find the original video, but cannot find it anymore as the original poster has taken down the video on his page.
It showed a moldy Ice Cap mix sitting in the ice cap hopper. And viewers specified that it was linked to this location. Dead insects on sauce bottles, expired food past its shelf life in food containers. PLUS the video showed uniformed Tim's Employees pulling chunks of mold from the ice cap machine.
As a former Tim Hortons Employee at one of the Montreal Trudeau Airport locations, these images shocked me...I'm very surprised that ( If these allegations and videos are 100% the truth ) that this location hasn't been closed down by a Steritech inspector due to food safety-related issues.
I want to believe that these images have been seen and addressed by the owners of this Franchise. But I'm doubtful, as viewers also mentioned that the owners "Know the inspectors".
Which if this is true...Shame on you. Food safety comes first.
This concerns me because food-related illnesses are a real thing. Is it going to take a person getting very sick at this location for someone to do something?
If anyone from RBI International is reading this/Tims Corporate, please send a surprise shopper/inspector.

I just want to say that I like going to this Tim's, The service is great. But this morning I went to pick up my usual travellers wrap and was told no eggs were available, So I asked for two hash browns instead, I also asked for a large half coffee Half French vanilla and was told no French vanilla was available. So I opted for a half coffee half hot chocolate. After waiting 15 to 20 min in the drive through, My 2 hash browns were cold and soggy and my coffee and hot chocolate cold. I understand that business are short staff and current staff is under pressure, which is affecting quality. Just a thought maybe its time to consider doing some metrics to understand what and how much product is moving and what you should have available so you are not missing anything on weekends. Secondly if you are short staff, maybe consider posting a week-end menu on the display board which only features what is available currently in the shop based off the metrics you are monitoring. So as to reduce wait times and disappointment and make it clear its a week-end menu too.

Read moreI'm not sure what the management has told their staff but it's definitely not working.
They have only 1 person at the front taking orders but then that same person is responsible for finishing that order before taking the next one. I stood third in line for 10 min without it moving before my friends told me that we will be late and I had to leave. And behind me there were another 5 people waiting. All of this happened within 10 min.
Either make sure you have more than one person at the front and more than one counter working as well or do not put one whole person on just phone orders.
