Two 0 Seven Steak & Seafood — Restaurant in Quebec

First time I went, was with a few friens that I invited and paid, we had a blast it was good , It was presentable....second time I went I only brought my wife and daughter without the friends. My daughters birthday...

1-We paid a good amount of money and ordered a sea food platter (60$) one, same as the first time I went with 5 ppl I even had pictures of what it looked like. They brought me on the 2nd time a platter with lesser seafood , and missing items without the tower...I had to show them the picture for them to get me the pieces missing and then they tell me thank you for reminding us...Thanks next time id like to get paid to do your job.

2- we ordered 3 Surf and Turf (65$/each) asked for one medium, medium rare, and well done.

Well done was well done yes but the low lighting and my wifes resilience on trying to keep my daughter in good mood was impressive because the bottom part was BURNT!

Medium : hey they got this one it was rosé like it should be...

Medium rare: this came BLUE the only thing that looked cooked was the grill char on the steak.

Conclusion: lighting is ambient mode so it was hard to see when it came to the table, we did not want to be THAT family that is complaining all the time, we did not want to disappoint our daughter by showing he that at her birthday (her day) we are ruining it. Paid around 260+ 10%tip ...

Was good first time, lacked discipline and standards on second time, being a cook is not just placing items on a plate and sending it to the customer especially if they are paying SO MUCH MONEY, I as a Chef know this, And it ashamed me just writing this review because it hurts my profession.

Two 0 Seven you have...

On August 22, my boyfriend and I came for breakfast - like we do all the time (in fact, I even worked here). Normally, the food is exceptional and the service is quick and polite. Unfortunately, we won’t be back. There were only two tables in the restaurants, with a hostess, a busser, two servers and the manager. Our server Braydie was polite, but she messed up every single thing we ordered other than a can of coke. She got the omelette wrong, the toast wrong, the side wrong. The home fries tasted like they were made hours prior, the omelette tasted like it was made with Kraft singles cheese slices. And to top it off, my boyfriend was in the bathroom at the same time as a kitchen worker, and the employee went to the washroom and returned to the kitchen, without washing his hands!! I don’t know what’s going on here - and being industry, I understand that it’s hard to find stellar staff, but none of this is acceptable. I hope they can get back to the quality from before, it was the best...

The service itself and staff were incredible , the Heinekens were perfect temperature as they need to be colder than the average beer . The place is nice and has a great atmosphere .my wife had the chicken parm which i tried and it was incredible!

The bad ... ordered a new York steak (medium) and it was incredibly rare , I asked if they could cook it a bit more which they did but still came back almost uncooked still . At this point my wife was almost done eating so I just sent it back all together. They did not charge me for the steak , they gave me a free beer and a free dessert but somehow still charged me for the mashed potatoes that I didn't eat cause I was waiting on my steak .

I'm being generous with giving 3 stars but I'm gonna assume it was an off night . I definitely want to give this place another try and will happily update my review ...
