McDonald's — Restaurant in Quesnel

ZERO Stars. This was, without a doubt, the worst McDonald's experience I’ve ever had. And I do not have high expectations of McDonald's.

I ordered three simple sandwiches—no modifications and read verbatim off the menu—along with a McFlurry. I read the order clearly, repeated multiple times, and the employee even confirmed, "Ok, got it!" Turns out, they did not "got it."

One sandwich was rung up incorrectly and put in the box as a deconstructed sandwich.

One was missing key ingredients.

The last one, the meat was burnt and it looked like it had hit the floor, shattered, and been sloppily glued back together with an ungodly amount of mayo.

As for the McFlurry? The receipt was right, but they made it with the wrong ingredients anyway. So either they can’t read, or they just don’t care.

To top it off, I waited an absurd amount of time despite being the only order. No cars ahead of me, no one inside—just pure, inexplicable incompetence. And, of course, they didn’t even bother to throw in napkins.

We stopped here ‘quickly’ yesterday for 3 kids meals and a wrap. We waited 45 minutes!! Stood at the counter along with at least 15 other impatient customers. I told the young lady the machine said error and didn’t print my receipt out so I have no idea what my order number was. ‘Just watch out for it on the pick up counter’ I was told. I see 2 kids meals at one point, thought it was mine. Then people coming in and going with their smaller orders. I go up again and ask. Manager in the back had no clue how to manage from the looks of it. They took the 2 cold kids meals away to the back added another one on the tray and set it out on the counter, about 25 minutes later. This must be mine!? Worst experience I've ever had at any Mc Donalds. I was treated like a second class citizen by the manager Steve who clearly did not take my complaint/concern seriously, he was too busy rolling his eyes. I've travelled all over North America for work and I've been very fortunate to not have come across such a classless representative of an iconic world renowned company. I can honestly say next time I'm in Quesnel for Inspections I will continue driving past this Mc Donalds and wait until I reach Prince George to get my Big Mac fix. PS: to all drive thru customers, please check your order before driving away.
