We came back for a 2/3rd try. It was 7:30 after a long day. We live local and want to support local and we do do with all the business in Frankford instead of driving to Trenton or Belleville. We have tried numerous times in the 16 years we have lived here to support this establishment, but are so tired of being disappointed every time. For heaven’s sake we even like McDonald’s, so our tastes are not super high end, but when you pay $23.5 for a “Greek” dinner you want a Greek dinner. Sadly we have watched the Greek menu become soo ungreek over the last 16 years. Tonight everything on our plate was so far from 16 yrs ago and so far from Greek. I had no words for our amazing waitres. The only thing Greek on our platter that was Greek was the, far to much used” oregano. Salad dressing- not Greek, clearly bottled. Potatoes, clearly boiled in lemon water, not roasted and no olive oil. The rice was the farthest from Greek I have ever had. I have no idea about the over cooked, maybe boxed, zero salt, flavourless rice. And rediculously far too much on the plate. Rice is expensive. Save on rice and fix the seats in the booths. Seriously simple cost savings. Smaller portions of quality at lesser cost. Over filled lower quality plate does not say value, it screams cheap. The wine was the bottom of an old bottle and not my first choice as the Pino, which is extremely popular, and it was thirsty Thursday, was not available. There is an LCBO 3 minute walk from the business. There has been a lot of money spent on the outside area. But funds need to be directed inside to improve quality. The last time we were there, May 2023, our wedding anniversary week, and the fruit flies were out of control. The waitress at that time said they were working on it. Ttonight I killed 3 flys, and if that wasn’t enough, I pulled out a hair from my rice and salad. Owners, I have met and spoken to you a few times, and I think your cool guys but something has gone sadly wrong. I don’t want to go to Stirling and I don’t want to go to Trenton. I want to support Frankford. You are not making it easy. You have clearly lost your passion for a good local establishment. I have watched your pride of ownership decline I’ve the last decade, along with your food quality. Hey. I’ll back peddle on that a bit, your pizza business is busy and kinda tasty, but so is Jim’s in Stirling. So sad to have written this. I have no problem going out and dropping over $100 on drinks and food for 2, but we’ve given you numerous opportunities. If I were the owner I would want to know this. My complaints are not unique. Look back in the reviews, there are lots similar to mine. Bright Line- you wait staff if amazing. Keep highering...
Read moreAfter reading all these reviews it's no surprise to me that my review matches a lot of the complaints posted here it seems specifically a pattern of cooking chicken dishes and their sides that seems to be their difficulty. probably should be taken from the menu and left at simply a pizza joint
And adding to this I am yet another customer was very dissatisfied with my service the length of time it took( 1 hr) to get my food (and considering the place was not packed every time I went and I did three visits in my first month of being in FF) I chose the shish kabob plate every time thinking it would get better but everytime it failed. Potatoes were always bland and chicken GROSSLY charbroiled and generally dried ( I suspect from being left under the heat lamp) so much- that I had to slather barbecue sauce just to be able to chew it. Definitely wasn't worth the money.
Now we all know that management personnel who review their comments on their business don't respond to negative feedback because it highlights the flaws... BUT TIP! the professional thing to do would be to get back to your customers regardless and offer a resolve. How about a free redo for customer by a cook who knows HOW to...
Read moreWe ordered a pizza to go. They were friendly when ordering but had many issues overall:
Had to wait a solid 5-8 mins to be helped at the counter. I understand that they were busy but not even a “be right with you.” Plus they took phone orders first vs in person.
Most employees weren’t wearing masks and they had a sign that said if anyone had a problem with it that they could take their business elsewhere. The sign said they have medical conditions but the chance that the 6 people I saw working behind the counter without masks all had medical conditions preventing mask use is slim.
The main guy working said aloud that he was too drunk from hard liquor and would need to slow down and switch to beer.
Pizza was AWFUL. No flavour. The pizza sauce tasted like Classico pasta sauce. The crust was thin and they put so much sauce on the pizza that it basically steam cooked in their oven (as there was way too much moisture) and so the bottom crust was soft and soggy and fell apart and the pepperoni was soft and steam cooked instead of crispy. Probably the worst pizza...
