Gramma G's Diner — Restaurant in Quinte West

My partner and I went to Gramma G's for brunch last week. It was our first time going and we absolutely loved it. It's everything we look for in a local food place.

The food was delicious. Large portion sizes. Staff were so friendly, and personable. We enjoyed chatting with them. The lovely woman who runs the place (I can't remember her name and I feel badly about this) consistently checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed, and that it was to our satisfaction. The atmosphere was my favourite part. The second we walked into Gramma G's we felt like we were attending a family meal. It feels "homey". They had the place decorated for Christmas and it took me back to my great grandmother's house instantly. I loved that each table was decorated the same way, to provide consistency and symmetry. This, paired with the smiles you see on the customers' faces who are already present and enjoying their meal... It's just a warming feeling. It is a little crammed in there - space wise due to tables however this also helps add to the cozy feeling. Personally, my partner and I didn't mind this at all. When we went to pay, we were offered a tasty complimentary baked good. I'm sure that doesn't happen all the time, but it was a very nice gesture and just further shows the kindness and caring that the staff put into the place.

Omg this place is an absolute Gem! My husband , myself and my mother inlaw were on our way from New Brunswick to Ontario. During a snow storm ( March 4th 2023) the owner Gina was amazing! The breakfast was the best I've ever had. The coffee is so so good! The customer service and hospitality we received here will be something we all talk and rave about forever! Been there a few times was happy with food, but after today which I know they were busy and taking that into account takes longer to get stuff absolutely, but food was greasy waitress couldn’t remember where any food went had to ask for order to be taken before customers who came in half hour after us menu says extra charge for dollar fries so got fries instead of home fries can’t eat spices ended getting charged extra with home fries spices on plate already.
