Ever get a good feeling about a place? It paid off, so glad I stopped here. Greeted by a friendly Laura. The best onion rings I have had, ever. A tempura like batter but without the panko if that makes any sense. The onion was perfectly cooked. You know when you get one that is more raw? Then it pulls out, slapping you in the chin? That never happened here. I had the Steakhouse burger with Chipotle mayo. What an experience. I mean 10/10. Forget the fancy steakhouses, Steak Machine is where it's at! We recently had the pleasure of diving into their hot dog and burger, and let me tell you, it was so flavourful! The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, with all the fixings. The hot dog? Oh man, the hot dog and even the buns were next-level delicious.

But Steak Machine isn't just about the food (although, let's be honest, that's pretty darn amazing). The staff were the absolute stars of the show! They treated us like regulars, even though it was our first visit. Super friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming. It's the kind of place where you feel right at home.

Two of us shared the mushroom burger, plus a large poutine, and a soft drink, 4July 2024...A huge disappointment for folks who generally love chip wagons and food trucks when on road trips. The burger was tiny, somewhat burnt, and toppings (esp. mushrooms, and one small piece of lettuce) were skimpy. This burger was so salty, it was awful. We ate a bit of the poutine and threw out the rest, as it was also way too salty. The way I know things, is if it's too salted, it's disguising poor quality food. Thankfully, there was a Tim's close by, and I was able to get a tea to settle my stomach, otherwise, I think I would have vomited. This was a $31 meal, very poor value for the money, very poor...
