Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Quinte West

This WAS my constant to go to Tim Horton's. Not anymore! Yesterday my husband and I were going to Belleville so stopped to grab coffee. As my husband went to drink his coffee the lid smelled mouldy. He called Timmies and nicely explained that the lid was funky and was told to come back. So on way home we brought coffee back and it was replaced all was good. This morning going through Timmies lady comes to the window and asks us to pull in so she can talk to husband. She was rude and stated that if we call we should not then come into the store (we were asked to) and that her employees are calling her crying. Then she told us we were no longer welcome at the store as all the employees are afraid of my husband.... Which is bull. We know a few employees there which is why we kept going even though they can NEVER get an order right the first time. For anyone who pays for something you want it right, and it's not hard to make a cup of coffee! Make it right the first time and there would be no reason to bring it back in and complain. This is by far the worst Tim Hortons in Trenton!! Slow service, bad customer service, order almost always messed up and to top it off, if you complain your asked to never come back! That in my opinion is the worst thing an employee can do just because you don't want the complaints. Fix your priorities in your job and get service right or there will...

For almost 6 years this was our favourite Tim Hortons location but after being told I was a liar by the supervisor because our order was deliberately made wrong by a disgruntled employee because we asked him a question about a new product we had just noticed at the drive through. Trust me we are just as confused, because we were the ones who could have been offended but weren’t. We let it go as a speaker issue, grabbed our coffees and hadn’t opened them until we were on the 401. Both were dumped because at that point who knows what’s in them. After unloading my anger about it to friends a few of us have just decided the coffee isn’t worth the experience when two large regular coffees just cost us $8 and it destroyed the vibe for what was supposed to be a beautiful afternoon. None of us can recall being treated like that by any other coffee franchise so we don’t need to continue to support Tim Hortons and are going to give our money the one of other many coffee shops...

Not the best Tim Hortons by any means. Store could be a little bit cleaner. Would he nice if they kept stock up so I'm not told that whatever I'm looking for they are out of. Has happened many times. Most staff there are friendly for the most part. Although most times whoever happens to be operating the drive thru - not even the same person each time just seems like it is this position - act like it takes far too much effort to take your order. Like you've inconvenienced them by having to tell them you want something. And to have to repeat your order because you can openly hear them socializing with other staff while they're supposed to be taking your order is annoying.
