First Time Trying Regina-Style Pizza First time in Regina, wanted to try the famous Regina-style pizza. Considered the well-known places like Houston's and Western but decided on Regent at the recommendation of a local. Pizza - Had the all dressed - Lots toppings, generous amount of cheese - A little greasy but to be expected given all of the cheese and deli meats - The pizza was good, Regina-style an interesting departure from what I'm accustomed to - In terms of flavour, I'd prefer something to give it that extra oomph - a unique sauce, some spicy chorizo, something to make the flavour combination pop - The actual pie was not particularly thick or overwhelming like Chicago deep dish, for example yet it still supported all those toppings, even more once they had time to settle, around a hour later when we finished our leftovers Service Service was great from arrival to departure. We were greeted warmly upon entry. The wait for our food was not long. Our served checked in several times throughout our meal. Atmosphere No frills, basic, unremarkable. That is to say, exactly what I'm looking for sometimes. Comfortable enough, homey, unpretentious or stuffy. I'm summary, my first time trying Regina/style pizza was actually OK. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a decent enough pizza at a welcoming, no frills dining space with good service.

Dealt with a young man with a poor attitude. I was clarifying order as it did not list the items from the purchase on the bill and he got an attitude like I could see through the brown paper bags. Got home and the pizza I ordered was 3/4 one kind and 1/4 the other kind instead of 1/2 and 1/2. Back bacon instead of “breakfast bacon” as this man kept calling it and this was not specified on the menu. The bacon was in large chunks that weren’t cut all the way through so when you grabbed a piece all the toppings came off the other piece. Huge onion chunks that had to be removed in order to eat. The Caesar salad which they package into the bag was like soup and spilled all over the bag and the container. Called to clarify and got just as much attitude the second encounter. Will not be back! Hope this review helps someone else. Regent used to great, not anymore! Sorry George but you need to do better!

Can't rave enough of this place ❤️.. Honestly speaking I didn't have high hopes at first entering the place and settled my expectations at "possible decent to average dining experience". Not so attractive interior with a touch of retro looks. Very basic and simple. But they reminded me again of an old saying - " don't judge a book by its cover". By far THE BEST MEAT PLATTER we have had in Canada till date. They say it's a platter for two but can easily satisfy four hungry people. Highly recommended. Service is very fast.. it took them hardly 15-20 mins from order to table. Definitely going back again but with bigger gang.. ⭐ Recommended.

I have frequented this restaurant, spending copious amounts of money on orders over the years, but the mess-ups on this restaurants side on my last two consecutive online orders, combined with the poor customer service response I received AFTER informing the staff (including George himself) will make me choose another establishment to place food orders from this point forward.

I placed an online order April 21 2022, added sauces (which I PAID FOR) but upon taking the bags home and opening them up, noticed I didn't receive the sauces I requested and paid for (okay, one mess-up, I didn't put too much thought into it).

I then placed another order two days later (April 23 2022). Keep in mind, when you place an order online, if you spend $40.00 or more, you get a free order of their pizza bread. my online order total was $38.75, however when I CALLED OVER THE PHONE TO CONFIRM I WOULD STILL RECEIVE THIS DEAL I was told that not only would there be an additional $6.00 added to my bill for the sauces I once again requested, but that I still WOULD RECEIVE the free pizza bread. When I arrived to pick my order up, George was sitting by the register who took my payment and I informed him of the missed sauces I DIDN'T receive on my last order two days ago. He didn't charge me for the sauces I ordered this time which I thought was great, however when opening up this order when I got home, I noticed I didn't receive the pizza bread I was told I WOULD get. When I called back to inquire, I was told (even by George) that I was $1.25 short (considering my order would've been WELL OVER $45.00 for the sauces I had in this order, combined with the fact that there was no pizza bread prepared for my order tells me I wouldn't of even gotten it had I actually paid over the $40.00 mark, so there's something extremely shady going on here)

Bottom line is I WAS a long time customer, but after these two consecutive experiences, I will take my business elsewhere. I know I am only one person, but I just want you to know George, you totally failed to properly resolve my issues, and after TWO CONSECUTIVE MESS-UPS BY YOUR OWN RESTAURANT FOR A LONG TIME CUSTOMER you'd THINK you would want to make things right, however it's clear to me you don't care about customer loyalty whatsoever, so again, I will take my business elsewhere and you will never see me step foot in your...

HUGE Portions! Delicious food! Pretty, friendly, efficient wait staff. I always forget to take pictures but we started with large bowls (20oz?) of Cream of Cauliflower soup, Deep-Fried Pickles (6), and pizza bread (8 slices) with the best pizza sauce. 8" pizza was very generously topped Poutine comes loaded with gravy and cheese Nice, thick chicken burgers (one buffalo, one regular) 10 Baby Back Ribs each(one BBQ and one honey garlic) and they accommodated sauce on the side Biggest Calzone I've ever seen (comparable to the 8" pizza but thicker) with a side of @6cups of spaghetti and the tastiest meat sauce (I don't care much for meat sauce and usually eat spaghetti with Margarine, salt, pepper but this sauce was a game changer!)

6 people and all but 1 left with @1/2 their meal because the portions are so generous.

My only 'complaint' were the people next to us who do not know how to parent so they allowed their preschool-aged child to run, yell, and be a pain.

Feedback would be putting the spaghetti on a separate plate because it made the calzone soggy.

Total $243 and...
