Harvey's — Restaurant in Rigaud

I often go to this location while I’m travelling to Montreal. First time anything like this has ever happened to me. I ordered a quarter pounder angus ( obviously, it’s the 🐐 sandwich) and halfway true the sandwich I started feeling something hard in it (that’s what she said). By the time I realized something was wrong, I had swallowed a huge piece of whatever this is (see joint photos). It was pointy, felt like wood, and totally hidden in the beef patty. I cleaned it at home to show proof. I started choking on the piece and got really scared fast (not used to pointy objects down my throat, wink). It hurt since it’s pointy! I was alone in the car and sort of panicked. Finally managed to throw the piece up. Threw the rest of the sandwich in a bin. This is the worst thing I have ever seen in my food. How does that even manage to end up in the beef patty mix? You guys partnered up with la cour à bois du RONA or what?!? I’ve been an Harvey’s fan for a long time now! My dad took me there all the time. You guys were my number one fast food. But this… this scared me for life. If you’re trying to kill your customers, at least make it less obvious (smaller pieces, poison, whatever)

Have gone there 3 times. my husband went there the first time without issue through the drive thru. the 2nd time I went with him and we waited 20 mins in the drive thru without a reply. when we left I could see a customer inside being served, and there was an extra employee in there to boot. the last time was last night and we saw other cars in the drive thru who seemed to be waiting for their order (having passed the order box and now at the window). waited another 10 minutes without anyone answering so we left, again. the lights were on inside and there was someone there, and the lights on the outside menu had been on in the drive thru so they weren't closed. too bad for them because last night it wasn't only our car that pulled away, the two others behind me did as well and it seems we all had the same idea and ended up across the street at burger king. At least they are reliable. I won't be bothering with this...

Love Harvey's, Been to this location before and it was ok. My most recent visit is my last. Horrible service, horrible food. Bun was stale, onion rings were old and cold.

How did cashier mess up an order of "2 number 4s, both combos with rings and root beer"? I wound up with an original with bacon and cheese and a double angus burger. The guy gets the original, I tell him what I want and wait for the next burger. After about 5 minutes (while burger and rings are sitting at the "pass"), he calls out for a double angus for the condiments and looks at me. I say "it's not me". He holds the receipt towards me in the air and says "are you sure about that?!" in a super condesending tone.

Bottom line, when stopping in Hudson while driving to/from Ottawa-Montreal, just go to McDonalds instead. This place is not representative of the real Harvey's we Canadians...
