A friend recommended this restaurant to us due to its stunning view and lobster but we unfortunately didn’t feel the same. The restaurant is quite small with a few tables beside the window which have some distant views of the river, but not right on. We couldn’t get a seat over there anyway. They have lobster meals but they are pretty plain and come with very basic sides which are basic lettuce salad and fries together with sauces from the stores. They neither look exciting nor taste yummy at all compared with their prices. It seems more like a place for tourists instead of good food.

Enjoyed this gem along the waterfront in Rivière-du-Loup. The fish was very good. I went around 7 and I had to wait about 10 minutes to get seated. Service was friendly and they had local beer available. However, I didn't like how it was over $11 for a can of beer, but it was good for a local craft beer. Ended up paying over $50 which is usually more than what I want to pay. Nonetheless, for the experience and location it was good to do once.

Warm and friendly service even if you don't speak French. Lobster roll was amazing, definitely 100g seasoned lobster meat if not more on lettuce in a flatbread. Lobster poutine is also amazing with a good portion of lobster, lots of cheese curds and a white sauce kind of like bechamel. Indoor seating is very cozy and homey and outdoors seating with a fantastic view of the St Lawrence.

I give 1 star because they made room for us as we did not know reservations were needed. To start , the waitress only addressed my husband , not my children or myself . We had empty water glasses for quite sometime ..she offered my husband more water but not the kids or myself. She spilled water on my baby and me and didnt bring anything to wipe it up. My brochette was VERY small and VERY dry..the rice had no taste and they didnt have or suggest any choices for salad dressing ...my plate size for the price and quality was a joke ! I have to give them a thumbs up for the lobster poutine as my daughter barely took a breath while she ate it ( I guess it was good ) their fries were good as well ( I know this cause I had to share with my other daughter as my plate was not satisfactory ... I am sorry to say that I would never recommend this place and I do not plan on eating there again should we visit in...

We were referred here by a local, for lunch. The restaurant was busy and we were told a table wouldn't be available for 1/2 hour. We asked if we could eat outside as there are tables outside the restaurant and picnic tables nearby. The waitress said we could, but we would have to order to go. OK no problem, she goes to give us the menu and the lady behind the kitchen door rudely states that our order wouldn't be ready for a half hour. We said that was OK then she seemed frustrated that we still wanted to order and said she wouldn't even take our order until all her other orders were done and it would be 45+ minutes, to sit outside and they would come see us when they were ready. Really unimpressed by their customer service. We left and found another place nearby to...

Came here for breakfast. We had our dog with us so had to sit outside on the patio table. The server served us in styrofoam take out containers even though we were sitting on THEIR patio! Actually wait. She didn’t serve us. She told us to wait in the restaurant while they prepared the food and we had to carry our food to our table in terrible cheap containers. We ordered croissant, Toast, bagels and an omelette for a family of four. It took one hour for our food to arrive. And my omlette came with a readymake fruit cup and readymade baked beans. My ‘omlette’ was just plain egg with mushrooms dumped inside. Our coffee was given to us within 2 minutes and was ice cold by the time breakfast arrived. Quite lousy...
