You may have had chicken from competitive chicken restaurants but if you have not eaten chicken from these Manitoban restaurant franchise locations, you may not have experienced good Southern-fried chicken in a typical Manitoba winter. I have traveled an hour and a half or waited over an hour until I reached the next Chicken Chef down the highway on my travels. The chicken is moist with crispy skin and your stomach won't be deprived or skimped by the generosity in size of chicken pieces. There has been consistency in taste, value, and enjoyment in my dining experience as I been at almost 10 different Chicken Chef locations. I have stopped to call a Chicken Chef ahead on my travels so my order would be ready as I reached the town the Chicken Chef is located in. I hope they keep adding restaurants where cell phone coverage is not 100%, though I would wait 15 to 2o minutes to get my order. The chicken is that GOOD!!! You can also get breakfast or a pizza when your 🐔 chicken taste desire has been satisfied recently. Enjoy your Chicken Chef meal. My taste buds have always been pleased. Nothing but great tasty experiences with excellent hot and delightful chicken! When we entered the restaurant we weren't acknowledged. After seating ourselves, the server was rude and we felt rushed to order. After we ordered and received our food, she didn't come back once. We tried to get the attention of other servers for a drink, but to no avail. They saw our attempts and bluntly ignored us. Once we got to the till another server had no manners, told us the cost, had us pay, and left without asking if we wanted the receipt -which we did- Overall poor experience.

Went there for chicken today, haven't been in a while, if I could have given 0 stars for their food and service I would have. Ordered an 18 piece bucket, everything tasted like it was, at the very least a day old.Chicken was close to being burnt and the fries were cold and as tough as nails, obviously old fries.
