I really wanted to like this place. I love a small town gem, but the food was not very good. We both tried one of their East Indian dishes. I wanted the prawns malaikari, but they no longer have prawns, so I agreed to try it with chicken instead. The texture of the chicken was just really off, and it really turned me off of the entire dish. I ordered the malaikari sauce mild because I’m pregnant, but it was just fairly tasteless. I also ordered the rice/naan combo. Definitely not basmati rice, and the naan seemed store-bought. Overall, I was disappointed. I tried my partner’s lamb dish, which I did like more. Service was a bit slow, but friendly.

The tastiest, and most authentic Indian food this side of Saskatoon! The Chicken Tikka is bang'in, the Vindaloo is popp'in, the Pakora appetizer is savory and this little lentil flour cake ballz with clove and honey syrup for dessert is definitely delicious! They prepare steel head trout as a regular special and it is cooked to perfection! Seasoned right, totally hot and flaky, not overcooked and dry! Hats off to the chef, and the service is friendly and sincere 👍 Great place to visit for sure.... I would recommend! Ck out this photo of the dessert....

Was very good. I had spicy 🌶️ chicken 🐔Tikka Masala and the Nan bread and Basmati rice 🌾 combo. Chicken came in a little serving dish mixed with peppers 🫑 and onion 🧅 smothered in a spicy tomato 🍅 sauce. The chicken was so tender and delicious, all you needed was a fork to cut it! For the size of serving I received, I definitely received great value for what I paid for my meal. I would t definitely be going back and trying out other authentic India Cuisine dishes made fresh in house!

Highway Host has recently changed hands and is under new management.

The menu is this restaurant's strength. The food is fantastic. It generally has Greek and more traditional Indian options, while keeping a few Canadian standards to please all comers.

I'm told nothing comes from frozen, and given the taste I believe it. The pasta tasted as if made from scratch(which I'm betting it was), The bread was freshly baked for sandwiches, and everything leaves one quite pleasantly full.

If you like spicy food, let your server know and they certainly accommodate such requests. I have definitely made this request on more than one occasion and was delighted with the results.

They also appear to be running a Buffet on Thursday/Friday evenings from 5PM to 8PM for those who might like to try several options.

I'm told there is also a Liquor License on the near horizon, and intentions to make use of the existing tap, to bring a keg in. This would make this the ONLY RESTAURANT(or bar) TO SERVE DRAFT BEER IN TOWN! With summer on the horizon, I think this will be a...

One hell of a value for your dollar. Food amounts, taste and speed worth every penny. Only complaint was more just a teenie weenie more service as we ran out of napkins early in our dining, other than that this is a must stop for bang for your buck. The restaurant might of felt a touch outdated but also neat with the refabrication of the tables, the models and giant bottles around the restaurant, something to always look at. These gals did well, don’t forget to tip your waitresses folks!! These were worth the little extra. And that says something...
