Moulin Noir — Restaurant in Rouyn-Noranda

We had one order of salmon and avocado and it was okay, not too extraordinary. The other one was for a seafood plate, it was so bland and lacked even salt. I’ve had seafood multiple times and this was the first time I’ve left a plate with crab legs, shrimps and lobster tails. Oh my God! Even the rice was bland. Then came the cosmopolitan which was bitter, tea came with cheap sugars from the gas station, pineapple juice just flavourless and butter for the entrée was also from the gas station. It got me wondering how they have a lot of people coming in when the food tastes bad but then the service was really good so I’m guessing it’s that. Food was great! However service from the waitress was horrible. Was in a rush to get us out. When asking for the bills, we requested for takeout boxes, attitude was given. Service de notre serveuse parfais. Le problème qu’on a vécu une autre serveuse es venue l’aider pour le service de nos plats (8 personnes)elle c’est trompé elle a mélangé 2 assiette j’ai commencé à manger et me suis aperçu que ce n’étais pas mon assiette ainsi que mon confrère. La serveuse qui c’est trompé nous a mentionné quel allait cuisiner 2 nouvelle assiette car les deux ont à manger dedans elle nous avisent que ça va prendre 1/2 hrs .Surprise elle arrive 5 mnts plus tard avec nos assiettes histoire courte il on replacé notre assiette je me suis aperçu qu’il manquait quelques chose . Pour s’excuser nous. A offert un 15% . Pas acceptable a mon goût vu la réputation du restaurant le meilleur à Rouyn. Une chance que mon confrère n’étais pas allergique au fruit de mer. En conclusion propriétaire et gérante bien radin je suis sûr que le chef n’était pas au courant!
