Located across from Saffie’s, and next to the book exchange. Le Goûter is a walk up place (order at the window, and sit on their patio). Came a little after lunchtime. I had an Oreo flurry soft serve. It was packed with cookies - amazing. I probably ate a whole tray. My spouse had a sundae and it was also really good. Their soft serve is the only soft serve at the beaches that I’m aware of. The prices were very reasonable and the icecream was creamy and delicious. I’d love to see peanut butter sauce added to their menu. We didn’t try the crepes, and the pizza is served after 3, but we’ll be back for sure. The staff were nice and chatty. They seem like good people. We took our dessert over to the book exchange (basically a massive little free library) and found some awesome books.

The wind blew us to Albert Beach this weekend. I'd heard Le Goûter was opening this weekend for the summer. We had three crepes between the two of us. The crepes we had were the Pesto, ham and Swiss and the vegetarian. All three were so good. The crepes were light and very tender. The fillings were generous were all so delicious. We will be going back. Oh yea, the family sitting next to us had a pizza which looked fabulous. I'll be trying one of their pizzas soon. If you are in the beaches area or wanting to make a short road trip do it. Le Goûter is worth the visit!

This is a takeout place - like a food stand. You order at the window and either eat on their patio or go exploring. Had an Oreo flurrie. My partner had a sundae. The flurrie was full of cookies - it must have been a whole tray. The icecream was creamy and delicious. Best soft serve around the beaches, and cheaper than the “convenient” stuff in VB. The staff were chatty and awesome. I’ll definitely come back to try pizza and the crepes. Next door is this sweet book exchange that we visited while eating our dessert - like a little free library with hundreds of books.

UPDATE - We decided to pick up a pizza from Le Goûter tonight for the first time (instead of from our usual spot).

We ordered ahead (highly recommended), and it was ready (and piping hot) when we arrived at the scheduled time. We got a large "Pesto" specialty pizza, and it was awesome!

The crust was great. Not too thick and just the right amount of chew when you took a bite. It was loaded with toppings from edge to edge. The large 15" pizza with 8 generous slices is likely enough to feed 3 to 4 people. The pesto sauce had a nice zest to it and tasted great with the spinach, tomatoes, chicken, and feta cheese.

If you haven't tried their pizza yet, give it a chance; you likely will not be disappointed. We will be back!

ORIGINAL ICE CREAM REVIEW - Great spot to take the family for ice cream. Nice selection and serving...
