I had the borscht, then ordered chicken fingers and perogies. My husband the same. The borscht was ok, but only luke warm, not hot. The chicken fingers were very heavily breaded and are a frozen product they deep fry. The perogies looked and tasted like the frozen Cheemos perogies you buy at the grocery store, the cheapest ones by the way. The atmosphere is very outdated, dark and dingy. It is fully carpeted with seams coming apart and floors very dirty everywhere. The waitress was not friendly at all. She didn't like that I asked if the chicken fingers were real chicken or a bi-product. When serving our food, she threw it down in front of us and walked away. Husband and I visited the restaurant for breakfast, I had the farmer breakfast and he had the chicken parmesan. Prices are amazing! Farmers breakfast has 3 eggs, 5-6 bacon or sausage, hashbrowns and 3 slices of toast for only $9! Food was delicious and prepared quickly. Great friendly service!
