I'm not usually one who goes out to eat breakfast or lunch, but today I had skipped breakfast and was arriving to work nearly 2 hours ahead of schedule, and I was craving something sweet and filling so I searched up "pancake restaurant" and this was one of the results. I chose this place because of the stellar reviews and needless to say this business has earned it. It seems to be owned by an army vet (or at least sponsored by them) so make sure to remove your hat when you enter if you're wearing one. The service they give is incredible. The waitress was super friendly, constantly offered free coffee and refills, and even stopped to ask if the meal was going okay and if I had anything to say about it. The pancakes themselves where delicious. I ordered blueberry pancakes with bacon and some killabisa sausage, and while I didn't quite care for the blueberries (I won't order blueberry ones next time) the pancakes themselves were sweet, fluffy, and incredibly filling. That single plate of food ended up being my meal for the rest of the day and I didn't even have to eat lunch or dinner! I felt satisfied with the prices of the food, didn't feel like I was being overcharged, had a lovely atmosphere to eat in, and the food was great! I'll be sure to come here again if I...
Read moreI have been here a handful of times and found the food OK. But this past Sunday I went for breakfast with family and my Dad couldnât finish his plate. His eggs were not very cooked and the potatoes were the same story. He mentioned to the server and she took his feedback mentioning its been a busy day, so I also mentioned my bacon was barely cooked and the server just told me âthats our SOFT bacon, just ask for crispy next timeâ⌠I understand that some people like their bacon less well done, but I didnât need mine CRISPY, I just wanted it cooked⌠Because of their confidence I just ate it, but now I have some (hopefully) mild food poisoningâŚ
When paying up, they didnât even ask and bundled our bill together. No comp on anything.
The table beside us was there first and ordered before us too, and we got our food first⌠which they were not happy about understandably.
I understand if its a busy day, or youâre understaffed, but people shouldnât leave your restaurant sick, and if the service/food is legitimately lacking, which it was, you should at least comp the meal causing a problem or offer a discount.
They basically just brushed us off and now I may miss hours at work sick from some...
Read moreMy family came here to eat and the food was absolutely delicious and the servers were very kind and did their best. It was a busy Sunday but the food came out quickly and the servings were huge. I was surprised to only see 2 servers for an entire place like that on such a busy day but they did a good job keeping up with the work even if wait times were a bit longer. It would be nice to see some better signage on how to enter the building and where to go from the front door. There are lots of hallways and stairways when you walk in and no directional signs to the restaurant which we discovered is actually inside the Legion and not separate like Google maps made it seem. The place was clean, the people were very nice, portions were huge and the prices were fair, we will definitely come back to try the...
