Bistro 330 — Restaurant in Rural Municipality of Macdonald

It is Saturday May 31st 2025 I am rather new to LaSalle and This is my first experience with Bistro 330 I was ordering takeout and was left on hold for 10 minutes I got tired of waiting and so phoned back and was promptly put on hold again I hung up and phone back and was promptly put on hold again called back and finally got an answer the main meal I wanted the Marguerite steak Fritte but was told it was not available the lady who answered the phone immediately tried to upsell me to another meal $20 more expensive I just settled on two orders of chicken fingers with fries it would take 45 minutes for my meal to be ready when I arrived at the restaurant I had to wait 10 minutes before anyone even spoke to me finally I got service paid for my supper left got home opened it up to eat and the first box I opened there was my dipping sauce the lid was broken nearly in half and only half left in the little container this happened while packing it and then you lid was not used it was just put in that sloppy way and of course in the transport home the dipping sauce ran out and all over my fries and chicken strips I was disappointed in the amount of chicken strips only five for the price and found them to be very Bland and dried out the sauce was not very flavorful the second box was okay but the fries are of the frozen variety I never heard of a bistro using frozen fries they should be homemade fries the chicken strips should be juicy especially for the price I'm paying and there should be at the very least a coleslaw with the meal a terrible experience and I am unlikely to ever experience their food or lack of...

Such a wonderful addition to La Salle. There has been a recent change to the menu which sees a lot more of the delicious specials now being permanent fixture. Staff are wonderful friendly and welcoming and super helpful with menu choices. We eat here often and haven’t had anything yet that hasn’t been delicious. On a side note I took some celiac friends with me a few months ago and one of them also has several other food allergies and intolerances. They both had delicious meals and loved the fact that most of the menu could be made as a gluten free option so they didn’t feel awkward or left out. One checked several times that the bread was gluten free as she said she had never had gluten free bread as close to the real deal. She even reported back the next day to say that she had zero reactions to anything she had eaten which for her is incredible. Highly recommend...

This was our first visit to Bistro 330, and it was a very good dining experience. I ordered the Pear and Elderflower cocktail to start. It was way too sweet for my liking so I didn’t order a second! We shared the Dirty Chips for an appetizer, and they were really good. I definitely recommend those. Then for my main meal I ordered the Bistro Chicken Pita, and it was also really good. My husband ordered the Butter Chicken, and quite enjoyed it. Our friend ordered the Mango Thai Crunch Salad, and was very pleased with it. All the main dishes were great! Then for dessert we shared a piece of the Peanut Butter Cheesecake. So good!!! The service was also pretty decent, maybe a little slow, but we didn’t mind as we were there to enjoy a night out visiting with friends. We will definitely go back again.
