Marks Barnay's Lounge — Restaurant in Rural Municipality of Montcalm

Update: we stopped in for supper, we didn't know that the ownership had changed. The 1st waitress was nice, but the 2nd one didn't know what salsa was when we ordered nachos and tried giving us sour cream with popcorn chicken, also didn't know what sweet n sour sauce was.. our main meals weren't good, the chicken burger was so overcooked & hard I couldn't eat it, also had brown lettuce on it. My husband's bam bam burger wasn't fully cooked, still red meat in the middle and no jalapeños on it.. the poutines were tiny and water downed gravey on them. Needless to say, we left half of our meals on the table, paid $75 when we told the waitress, and all she said sorry. We will never be back. This place used to be awesome!

Old ownership: We had bam bam burgers and poutine both were good, had a deal on wings 12 for $8.00 we got them battered and were really good! Definitely will be back as its close to the border crossing and has semi truck parking. Waitress was super nice. Only thing was the people in the bar side were quite loud and could be heard clearly on the restaurant side. Definitely...

Service was terrible, girl knew nothing about menu, we ordered deluxe nachos which the girl informed us there would be meat on them, received them with no meat, asked her and she started yelling that she didn’t know they didn’t come with meat like a 4 year old getting caught stealing cookies, ordered a burger requested to get an extra patty added and she informed me they wouldn’t do it even though the menu states you can, after she had taken order she came back 5 mins later and forgotten half of both our orders and re had to re order... floor was messy and had food all over it... just overall dirty and poor service.. never recommend this...

Very nice small town restaurant. Service staff was very attentive, didn't have to wait long to get our order taken or for the food to arrive. Coffee was fresh and refilled regularly. I had the Club wrap and soup of the day. The wrap tasted amazing and held together until I had finished it. The soup of the day was cheddar, bacon and potato, it was excellent, very flavorful and you get a great portion. Prices were very reasonable along with the amount of food you get. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice...
