The atmosphere is inviting with the walls displaying beautiful nostalgic black and white photos of folks that make you wonder if they are the owner's ancestors peering back at you. The service is prompt and pleasant, the servers and chefs greet you with a friendly smile, making you feel welcome. The pizzas are delectable! We ordered the Papa Carlo Special on our last visit and we enjoyed the crisp, fresh crust, the equally fresh toppings that are just the right amount to satisfy your pizza craving. Also, the desserts, such as the Turtle Cheesecake is just the right bite to end your meal, creamy, chocolatey and not too sweet. However, if you prefer, there is a wonderful selection of gelati; our favourites are orange with a perfect blend of sweet and tart and the chocolate, whose dark creaminess satisfies the even the most discerning chocolate lover (like myself). We were there for a birthday celebration. The food and service was not bad don't get me wrong but when I went to pay my beer was not on my bill so I asked them to add it because I definitely enjoyed it she wrote it down and I paid for it. Left a 20% tip. Withing two or three minutes my sister was at the till and we were saying our goodbyes. Minutes later I got a call saying that she got charged for my beer because it was on their bill. She told them it was mine and they said it was not paid so obviously she paid for it.

How can the person accepting cash not put two and two together? It was five minutes earlier when I asked them to add my bill. I asked my sister to go back to get her money back but like us it was not worth turning around. After leaving a 20% tip it kind of was a little disappointing

Anyway not a huge deal I'm sure it was a genuine mistake and normally I would have thought too much about it but my sister got stuck paying it aswell and well since it popped up asking me to provide a review so...

After all the years of driving past…a Sunday early evening driving past AND chose to stop for a pizza. Server was very friendly and attentive. The pizza. Delizioso. Two of us chose to share a medium pizza and made it “half & half”. Pineapple and ham & tomato green pepper. Great sauce, generous toppings and crust was perfect - not too thin and not too thick!!! Dining area was smaller than I thought it would be - a charming interior and pride of ownership shows! Warm atmosphere with walls of old family pictures…very cool! Glad your restaurant is open on Sundays and happy to have have followed through on whim & stop in for tasty fare…finally! Definitely stop in here when you are in the area OR take a nice short drive from city to Lockport just for the pizza - you’ll be glad you did! Keep spinning out these...
