My reviews for this location are mixed as my daughter works there. But everytime I ordered coffee from there, I was not happy. One day, I ordered dark roast and the guy mixed it with decaf. On the other day, I asked for coffee with 1 cream and 1 milk and the guy put 2 creams. On both occasions, I started drinking coffee once I reached home and I had to throw the coffee and brew my own. Some employees work hard, no doubt, but others just don't care and try to finish their shift. On 2nd day of my daughter's training, one of the customers got rude with her as she was taking time. My daughter is still wearing the trainee tag, which that customer failed to notice. My daughter cried when she ended her shift, but the next day, she met a happy customer who thanked my daughter and wished her best of luck with her training. There is no discount for employee family. So, I have seen the both aspects of this store, as a customer and as an employee, so I am not sure if these...
Read moreI live in Russell and for the last five years frequent this Tim Hortons. The service has declined significantly. I’ve come to expect my order to be screwed up everytime. Lately I havnt even been getting what has been ordered. I ordered a croissant sandwich and received a box. When pointed out I was told they had no more croissants, so why not discuss with me instead of charging me and assuming I would be okay with the box meal. On top of that they didn’t even have the maple sauce to put in the box and gave me chipotle sauce. The next day my husband went and he ordered a turkey club sandwich and there was no bacon on the sandwich. He went back and apologized but didn’t offer to make it right. He actually had to ask that they remake it. Lastly, we get no sugar in our ice coffee, yet 3/5 times they put it...
Read moreI went to the Tim Hortons in Russell, Ontario and the cashier who took my friends order gave her a small Ice Cap when she ordered a Medium Ice Cap. Then she charged her for a chicken wrap when she ordered the chicken bowl. The reason why she did that was because they had no more rice to make a bowl but only enough for a wrap, which she told us after we had paid and received the wrap. She had a big attitude when we had told her politely that my friend ordered the bowl and not the wrap. My friend is gluten free so she couldn’t even eat the wrap anyway, and the worker didn’t ask if she wanted to wrap instead or disclose that a bowl wasn’t possible. So she charged her without telling her. I was very appalled and upset for my friend as she couldn’t even eat what she was looking forward...
