Deso Burger & food truck — Restaurant in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville

Absolute hidden gem. One night I had a craving for something unique and didn't want to cross the bridge so I found this somehow. I was surprised how good this place is. sitting idly by on the 116, I wouldn't have thought twice about it if I wasn't on a quest. All times I've been here, the employees have made an effort to speak english (and pretty good english for my standards. this far into Quebec, any english is a shock to me and something all restaurants in QC should strive for).

Their poutines are amazing. Even more amazing is how different it is from any other I've had. The sauce is always thick and flavourful, it get's no better than home-cooked curly fries to me and the cheese is not too small, fresh but will melt into your poutine as you're eating. The reason that it melt into the poutine is because they put the cheese in between the fries and where the sauce is poured rather than on top of the poutine.

Their burgers are also very good. Very similar to Dic Ann's burgers but not spicy, unless you want it to be (Deso has a large selection of hot sauce's, which one of my friends has made some deadly mixes with his poutine). I highly recommend this place for any...

we were 4 people and all of us had the same opinion! we have been to you restaurant in the past and it was much better. salty bugers and poutine! maybe you should check with you poorly trained staff on that saturday and see what was up before trying to point out my reviews. you forgot to mention my multiple excelent reviews! a poorly run establisment!! you dont event make the top...

Not bad for a pit stop kind of restaurant, right off the highway kind of place. Well known in St-Bruno and offer a good cantine style variety of foods.

I have to agree though that the poutine is good but not mind blowing.

Secondly, the smash burgers, this trend. needs. to. die. The idea of decimating a burger patty to the thickness of a sheet of paper needs to go. You essentially get less for more money. The trend is leading restaurants to put a heftier price tag to be trendy.

Nothing wrong with a regular burger, they don’t all need to be smashed and more expensive.
