my girlfriend talked about this place nonstop, and I did try the cheesecake when she took it back home. Finally tried it in person today, reserved it for 8:30pm and was very quickly seated. We choose the lovely terrasse. The waitress was very kind, presented the daily specials and took our orders. I took the duck tartelette as an entré and the ribs for main.
The duck was exquisite, the perfect amount of sweet and saltiness on the little tart. It was 17$ but worth it. The ribs on the other hand was nothing special, for 31$ you have fries, decent amount of very tender ribs and a salad. However they taste like normal Kraft bbq marinated ribs, I didn't taste the coffee-lime sauce mentioned in the menu. It was filling and I had enough to bring back for another meal.

The staff were pleasant but it was very slow... We were there 2.5 hours and only got served water twice... We were outside on the terasse, which is quite nice but there is no lights... once it got dark, they set up little fake candles, but it wasn't enough and we all had a hard time seeing the food we had in our plate, one of us having to take his phone's flashlight to see what he was eating. Also, the terasse, in summer, isn't heated (probably never, really). As long as the sun is up, it was fine, but once it got dark, everyone from the skinniest to the burliest of us were frozen. Read moreI've been here several times over the past couple of months, and truly enjoyed the restaurant. However, I ate there last night, and it was horrible.
The kid who brings the bread needs to stop stuffing his face while working, and not walk around chewing on bread. Paying customers arrive hungry, and this kid eats away, delaying getting our bread.
Also, the food was horrible. I had the short rib special, and it came out cold twice; cold out of the fridge. My wife had the filet mignon, medium rare, and she also had to send it back (came well done). Second round on the filet mignon was a little better, but still not proper.
Manager came over, and didn't even offer a compensation for any of our troubles. Needless to say, we won't...
