My friend and I came here for the first time, on a Sunday for supper. There was a good choice of foods, and a nice choice of desserts, including a choice of fresh cut-up fruits to make your own fruit salad. Usually I come away from a Chinese buffet feeling "sick/bloated" full. Not this time. Maybe they use very little, or no, msg? The food was definitely not too salty (and therefore healthier). Usually I'm drinking tons of water both at the Chinese buffet restaurant, and then again all night when I get home, because of the salty food. Not this time. The quality of the food is very good. The fried foods were not too thick with batter, and were light and crispy, not oily-tasting. As soon as a food "bin" was empty, it was replenished. Considering it was a Sunday night (not usually a popular restaurant night), and the place was full, a lot of people obviously know that this is a terrific restaurant. Our waiter was very pleasant and efficient. Obviously the cooks are also great. Whoever is running this restaurant knows what they're doing. I saw that another reviewer mentioned that Saveurs des Continents was better. We go there too, and it is also a 5-star restaurant in my book. Yes they have more food choices, but not of the Chinese food. They only have some of the more popular Chinese foods (general tao, garlic spareribs, egg rolls, etc). Ming Wah is now, definitely, our new go-to Chinese restaurant. Ming Wah, offers a very good deal for the price they charge, and the food quality is excellent. We have eaten there a few times over the summer and I really couldn't complain about anything (food, service, cleanliness). So this is the reason I...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised. I was told that the best buffet was Continents, but Ming Wah was better. It felt cleaner than Fulam too. They moved me from a different table when the sun was hurting my eyes, very kind staff. The food was great too! I'm on a diet and too tired to go out, but I wish I was there now. Sadly they don't do deliveries. Maybe I should save my money and wait to go there. Definetly worth it.
2nd time. I've been a bad client, I freaked out on the phone at the botanic garden's customer service, they discriminate against handicaped people. When I apologized to the server she was so kind about it that it made the trauma go away. Definetly worth the money. I've been here for hours because my roomate has visits, and they stayed super welcoming even when I overstayed. They're kind even if you don't...
