Restaurant Normandin St-Jean-Port-Joli — Restaurant in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli

I have been to many Normandins all over Quebec and my family and I really enjoy them. We stopped in St Jean Port Joli, to have breakfast on our way back home to Moncton NB. We made our way up to the hostess stand and got seated pretty fast, then waited ten minutes for anyone to come get our drink order. OJ/water, coffee/water, chocolate milk/water, we never got the water. My middle girl who speaks French very well order, and I asked for the same as she had, and my youngest ordered. And we waited...and waited. Coffee gone, I can see our server filling coffee and interacting with her customers. Food comes she drops of my middle girls and the youngest's then mine and and mine is all wrong, but our server is already gone and it has been over an hour now we waited. Coffee still empty and no one came over to see after two bites. I finally flagged down the hostess and explained my order was wrong and we had not seen our waitress since she dropped off the food, she said ok one minute, and left. My kids are now done eating and no one has come back to our table. We ended up spending over 2 hours in the restaurant and it would have been more had i not gone looking...

I have eaten at alot of places over the years as a trucker driver first time eatting here and this place was the worst in customer service. Food wasn't even hot,waitress never even came to check on me once after I received my food!! Clearly cause I don't speak French I was kicked like a bag of trash. Will not eat here again next time stopping here i will eat something in my truck

After speaking with customer service I thought i would give the restaurant another chance so one week and one day after the last visit I am happy to say the experience was very very positive food was hot waitress was awesome came around a few times while I was eating and dining room was busy and she did this not only with just me...

We have ate at a lot of places right across our great country and have had many great experiences doing so. We drive a transport truck so places to eat are some times not accessible to us. Decided to stop in here today and try it out, bad choice!!! Put our order in about 20 minutes before a french speaking person and he got his meal before we did. Never said a thing to us just walked on pass us. Never asked how the meal was or offered a top up on our coffee. The french man beside us got two coffee refills!! The waitress was mean and it showed with her altitude that if you done speak french your last...
