Ate here yesterday with our kiddos. It used to be a go to for us but we haven’t been there in well over a year or so. The wait staff was exceptional. The food on the other hand was blah. I ordered the Spicy Chicken handheld. When I got the plate, I was a little thrown off by the spicy grease all over the top and bottom of the buns. It was so messy to hold, the that same oily mess was all under my fries too. I had never had that sandwich here before, so I assumed it was just a messy meal. I have had something similar at pump house in Moncton though and it was nothing like this. The chicken breading was not good…maybe burnt or the oil needs to be changed in the fryer. My son got the southern fried chicken but again the breading he chose to pull off because it was dark and bitter. He actually only ate half of one piece which is unlike home. The fries were super greasy. I couldn’t eat mine. My little guy couldn’t his poutine because the fries “tasted funny.” My partner got breakfast, and it was pretty good. For drinks my partner ordered an espresso martini. When it came, we noticed there was something milky in it. The waiter said they used Baileys in it. Why are people changing the classic espresso martini? It’s a favorite for us. We never think to ask if they use a milk based liquor because they shouldn’t and my partner doesn’t do milk. Lesson learned. Our waiter made them a new one which seemed watered down. I drank the milky one. It was okay but I think maybe used regular coffee and not actual espresso. Overall the atmosphere is cool, the service was great but the food and beverage could use some attention to be what we used to come bi weekly for.

This was my first experience at Britts, and it was wonderful!! Our server Ryan was excellent! We had a party of 16 people and he did not disappoint we his exceptional service. We got seated in a good area, where we had 4 small children with our party. The children got their food first, which was great. All our food was good that everyone said. We all got something different. There also was a large party that Ryan was serving as well. He did great, I can't get over how good he was. We came at 1. We had a reservation. We will be back! We ordered the southern fried chicken and the turkey poutine.

Last year, we ate here and it was awesome ! But since, something has changed and it's very disappointing. All the meals was too much salty. Poutine was not the sam, something changed in the poutine and there was not enough gravy. Fried Pickles was too big in size of pickles. Tacos was too salty and fried chicken didn't taste anything except salt. In general, a big big big disappointment for us when last year we though we found THE PLACE...but now it's a no for us. For nearly 200$ of meals...it's not worth it !

My experience was shocking to say the least, especially in comparison to the centre town location.

To start, the restaurant was dirty; table, floors and plates. When we asked to have the table cleaned and crusted foods removed the server came with a dry napkin, wiped the food from the edge onto my friends lap, wiped the table which did nothing and moved on. Things only got worse from here. Our drinks that we ordered were prepped and then left on the bar counter as 3 employees stood talking. This was a regular occurrence throughout the night. Ontop of this every time plates were brought to us, they were blatantly dirty. I can't say I saw any management or leadership, let alone an employee with respect for the workplace or customers.

Another server, with the remnants of another table that they just cleared, rushed by and spilled utensils and dropped sour cream or another sauce on the floor and all over the back of my friends leg. The server carried on, not only not picking anything up, but then rushed out of the restaurant with his belongings. The remaining servers repeatedly walked by and over that mess along with other fallen napkins and things on the floor. When we left, we pointed out the mess and the slipping hazard, but that didn't stop them from continuing to ignore it.

Now the so called food. My friend had a chicken and waffle poutine. He barely ate it. The lack of training and experience of the cooks shows. Drowning in gravy and a soggy breaded chicken. The cheese was just a giant cold clump. A disgusting dish at best and clear lack of quality. I myself had the Mecklenburger. The burger is certainly nothing to ride home about, but was the better dish of the table. Unfortunately, I was the only one to get any sort of hot food. My girlfriends fries were about as cold as they could get.

I can forgive new employees and off nights in the kitchen, but this place to its core clearly has issues. As a manager at my job, i know lack of managment and control. It's clear this restaurant has gone downhill over the months/years as you read other disappointed reviews. Hopefully the management steps up there game and rains in their establishment. I can only assume being attached to the golf course is the only reason this place stays open. That should be used to its advantage to bring this place up to par. I can tell from the lack of customers on a weekend that others in the community can agree, our money is better spent else where for the time being. 2 Stars only because I...

My wife and I love Britt’s Pub a lot! They have a nice selection of food and drinks. We most especially love the ambiance! I just had a strange experience today. I dropped in this branch today at 3:30 PM. We were in a rush because we knew it was closing at 4 PM. I was there to buy carrot cake for take away because it’s my wife’s favorite. To my surprise, the server said the kitchen is closed. I wasn’t even going to stay and eat in. I was just hoping to get a carrot cake to take home with me. She said she can’t give me anymore because the kitchen is closed. It was just frustrating because she didn’t check first with the kitchen and it’s just a cake. It’s pre-made and it just had to be sliced and put in a box. The restaurant was still serving people. I just wonder if that’s really the case? I would like to hear from the manager. I know how important customer satisfaction is to the owner and I’m just dissapointed with my experience today and hopefully it wouldn’t happen to...
