Tandoori Rouge — Restaurant in Saint-Lazare

Excellent food which is rarely available in rural areas. They have a wide variety of meats and flavors. They have recently increased the portions of plain rice so you no longer need to purchase 1 rice peppers on but rather 1 rice per 2 or 3!

The price is fair! They can tailor the spice level to your preference!

A bit expensive for the Naan bread but fine you need to make your money somewhere and when you order 1 Naan it's a huge bread cut in two so it balances out!

The service is polite and quick. This restaurant seems to rely mostly on take-out. The dinning area is small but nice all the same. Perhaps not necessarily an experience in and of itself.

Really love the vindaloo as well as the pakora! Try something new once in a while, a lot of very nice flavors to discover and aside from the usual butter chicken most dishes are super healthy for you!

I’ve always been sceptical in ordering Indian food as I do not like cilantro/coriander and other strong spices. We happened to get the menu in our mailbox today and my husband wanted to try it. I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner Navi and explained to him my likes and dislikes. We went through the menu together and decided on a few dishes that he thought would be suitable to my taste. To my surprise he was right. The food was delicious. Very flavourful. Being British, I'm a huge fan of Indian cuisine and I'm forever on the search for authentic, great tasting, well cooked food. Finally, I found it!

The food at 'Tandoori Rouge' is fresh and delicious. The textures and flavours are perfect, and our meal really hit the spot. As well as great food, the staff are absolutely lovely and so willing to help. When I asked for Rasmalai, the young lady went out of her way to make sure I got some and it was SO good!
