Motel et restaurant Manoir sur Mer Enr. — Restaurant in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts

Located on the beach, this motel was everythng it promised and more. Modern and clean, our room had two double beds, a Keurig coffemaker (with Van Houtte pods supplied), microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, and a hot plate. Dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery all supplied. There is a large Metro supermarket 5 minutes away by car. It was like an AirBnB setup with maid service (don"t expect them to do your dishes!). The beach goes for a great distance in both directions and it"s not a long walk east towards the old town centre with restaurants, a micrbrewery (Le Malbord), a marine museum (Exploramer) and a hiking trail that goes at least 8 kilometers into the provincial park. This motel is in a good position on the waterfront. It is on a residential road but only a couple of hundred yards from the main road so access is very easy. The room was large with two queen beds but it was a little dated and dark. There are patio doors onto the grass where there are tables which are shared - one table to two rooms. There was a coffee machine, fridge and microwave in the room, but no crockery or cutlery. The restaurant has a wonderful view but we did not eat there so cannot comment on the standard of food. Sainte Anne des Monts is a reasonable size town for this area and there are supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants and a launderette (which does not sell washing liquid or powder so make sure to take your own or buy some from the supermarket...

We stayed here for one night. Check in was fast and they made a reservation at the restaurant for us. |The motel is interesting. It has an interior hall outside the roomd and room numbers are listed on the doors that lead into tge hall and then into your room. |The rooms are generous and very clean. They have a deck door on the river side with an amazing view. The beds were quite comfortable. Everything you need is right there with a kitchenette and coffee machine. I did have to hunt for additional coffee as there were only 2 pods.
